Teyana Taylor Accuses Ex Iman Shumpert Of Smoking Weed Around Their Kids

Teyana Taylor has made new bombshell allegations against Iman Shumpert, the father of her kids.

In new court documents obtained by The Blast, the singer claims that Shumpert is always high around their kids while caring for them.

This comes after she accused the former NBA star of gaslighting her in an attempt to evade having to pay for child support.

In the filing, Taylor specifically states that the basketball star is smoking marijuana while in the presence of their children.

The divorce between Taylor and Shumpert is getting much more bitter than expected. The singer recently accused her ex-husband of being high around their children and not properly caring for them.

The legal documents read, "[Shumpert] consistently fails to properly care for the minor children including but not limited to failing to feed them despite being in the martial residence with the minor children, smoking marijuana and being under the influence while caring for the minor children."

Taylor further claims Shumpert placed their children "in a rideshare in Chicago, which resulted in the minor children being dropped off at the United Center in general population while he utilized the services of a private driver."

This recent development comes after she accused Shumpert of "gaslighting" and "manipulation," claiming that the athlete was trying to find a reason not to pay child support.

She said in a previous filing, "No amount of deception, gaslighting, or continued control and manipulation by [Shumpert] will achieve his apparent goal to avoid paying child support or to avoid an equitable division of the assets acquired during the parties' marriage."

The former basketballer has since denied the singer's claim that he put her in danger after she cited "cruel treatment" as her reason for requesting a legal separation from Shumpert.

Shumpert has yet to respond to these latest scathing allegations.

Prior to their bitter divorce going public, the former couple seemed to have ended things on amicable terms, with Taylor even defending Shumpert against rumors that he was unfaithful in their relationship.

She shared a lengthy post on Instagram and a photo of her and Shumpert holding up peace signs and smiling broadly.

Taylor wrote at the time, "Not too much on my best friend! In all fairness, Iman and I are separated and have been for a while. To be 1000% clear, 'infidelity' isn't one reason for our departure."

The singer continued, "We are still best friends and great business partners, and we are one hell of a team when co-parenting our two beautiful children. Most importantly, we are FAMILY & in the ten years together, seven years married, we ain't ever played with or about THAT."
