Comedian and actor Pete Davidson has become a grill master as he improves his cooking skills, but what are his go-to meals?
As Pete Davidson will star in two new commercials for Totino's during NFL playoff season, he has decided to learn how to cook and make snacks and meals for Super Bowl Sunday, a day that he says is usually a "chill" day.
Pete Davidson Shares His Favorite Super Bowl Snacks
In the upcoming ads, Pete Davidson is promoting Totino's pizza rolls as a football snack instead of ordering traditional pizza through delivery. "I’ve always been a huge fan of Totino’s," Pete Davidson explained of the iconic and easy bite-sized snack.
"The bite-sized pizza rolls make the perfect snacks for game day, which I’ve enjoyed since I was a kid," the comedian added. "So when the brand approached me about this campaign, I had to say yes."
And of course the best part of working with Totino's -- "I got to eat all the Totino’s Pizza Rolls my heart desires while on set and who gets to say that?"
What Are Pete Davidson's Go-To Meals?
In the past, Pete Davidson has admitted he is "awful at cooking," but he "can make a mean Cup O' Noodles."
"I go to Costco and get the premade ramen noodles," he explained at the time. "Since I don't know how to boil water because I'm dumb, I go to the Keurig, I hit the hot water button, dump it in the Cup O' Noodles, and stir."
"That is as far as my cooking goes," he added.
Now, however, the comedian is trying to improve his cooking skills, and is even "become a grill master."
In addition to his mean grilling skills, Pete says he always loves to cook a good pasta dish. "I’m always a fan of making spaghetti," he told PEOPLE.
Plus, if Pete makes too much of a meal, he won't hesitate to save it for another day, as he absolutely loves leftovers. "I know some people don’t like leftovers, but I actually enjoy finishing my leftovers," the 'SNL' alum added.
Pete Davidson On Home-Cooked Meals Growing Up
Home-cooked meals used to be extremely rare for the 'Saturday Night Live' alum growing up, as he explained, "My mom she was a single parent so she worked, she was a nurse and when she got home she didn't really have time to cook, so we would usually order Chinese food or Italian food."
Although home-cooked meals were a rarity for the Davidson Family, he said the one meal his mom would make was breaded chicken. "I've still yet to have a better chicken cutlet anywhere else," the Staten Island native said of his mom's chicken dish.
With Pete's childhood being a bit different than the traditional family dynamic, he admitted he rarely ate at the dinner table and, instead, he "would just like walk by and take each a chicken cutlet as soon as it was done being made cause it was so good and it was like the best time to eat it, when it was super, super fresh."
Pete did admit that "It was always a treat when my mom cooked."
Pete Davidson Shares His Super Bowl Plans
The NFL playoffs are just a week away, with the Super Bowl around the corner. So how does Pete Davidson typically spend this big sporting event?
"I’ll invite my friends over to watch the game and have been doing that the past few years," he said.
