Ariana Grande Gives Fans A Huge Update On Her Future In Music

Pop icon Ariana Grande has just revealed her future plans in the music industry, an announcement fans have been waiting years for.

For the past three years, Ariana's focus has been on her REM Beauty brand and her role in the upcoming movie adaptation of 'Wicked,' rather than on releasing new music.

Although she has not released music of her own since 'Positions,' the pop singer has made appearances on other artists' singles, such as a track with Kid Cudi in 2021 and a remix of The Weeknd's After Hours hit 'Save Your Tears.'

She also released a holiday track alongside Kelly Clarkson in 2021, 'Santa, Can't You Hear Me?'

Last month, the 'Thank U, Next' singer thanked her fans for "one of the most transformative, most challenging, and yet happiest and most special years of my life," referring to the year 2023.

"I've never felt more at the mercy of and in acceptance of what life was screaming to teach me. I've never felt more fulfilled by or present in my work, being able to cherish every moment," she wrote on social media, adding, "I gave everything I could have possibly given of my heart and of myself to the projects I was fortunate enough to be a part of and learned so much from every brilliant, beautiful, soul that I had the privilege of creating art with and crossing paths with this near."

Just one month after expressing her gratitude, Ariana Grande shocked her fans when she announced that she has a new single in the works.

Her upcoming single, which is titled "Yes, And?" is set for release on January 12, and fans cannot wait!

"yes, and? 1.12," Ariana wrote on Instagram alongside a close-up photo of her face wearing bright red lipstick.

"MOTHER IS BACK," one fan expressed.

"Oh, we’re eating good in 2024," another wrote.

Another fan expressed, "You knew we needed 2024 to be filled with magic" while another follower added, "The world is screaming in anticipation."

As one follower pointed out, "The theatre kid in me is LEAPING at the title."

It is unclear what the upcoming single will be about, but fans know Ariana has been spending the past few months focusing on her role as Glinda the Good Witch in the newly adapted 'Wicked' and focusing on her new relationship with her 'Wicked' co-star Ethan Slater.

The comments did not stop there as thousands of others commented on the post things such as "[the] queen’s back!" and "Let’s gooooooooo!!"

Fans had a feeling this announcement would be coming soon, as last month, Ariana Grande gave a small update on her seventh studio album, stating it was "almost the last day of this album."
