With the release of newly unsealed documents relating to Jeffrey Epstein, Prince Andrew's underage sexual assault allegations are once again in the spotlight. While the allegations aren't new or a surprise, they've cemented King Charles III's decision to exile his brother further and evict him from his current Royal Lodge.
The King is reportedly determined that Andrew will never hold a public Royal position again. The controversial prince isn't the only celebrity mentioned in the unsealed documents; other names include David Copperfield, Bill Clinton, and Michael Jackson.
New Documents Detailed Prince Andrew's Relationship With Jeffrey Epstein
On Wednesday, newly unsealed documents regarding infamous pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The documents were from a 2015 Manhattan defamation case brought by Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell, who allegedly acted as Epstein's "madame."
The documents have exposed more details about Prince Andrew's relationship with the late Epstein. The Duke of York was mentioned 69 times in the papers, along with multiple other high-profile celebrities associated with Epstein.
The allegations against Andrew include that multiple "acts of sexual abuse" and an "underage orgy with numerous other underaged girls." A deposition from Guifrre alleged that she was forced to have sex with Andrew three times and that she was 17 years old during one of these occasions.
The documents released are only just the beginning of the release of unsealed documents from Guiffre's case against Maxwell. The papers will be released on a "rolling basis," which means there are likely a lot more allegations against Andrew that will be made public.
Prince Andrew Will Never Resume Public Royal Duties
With this embarrassing scandal brought to the limelight again, King Charles seems to have had enough of Andrew's stains on the royal family. The prince has repeatedly and heavily denied all the allegations, but the damage is already done.
According to royal insiders, the renewed scandal has strengthened King Charles' resolve to remove Andrew from any public royal role permanently.
A source said, per Daily Mail, "When it comes to any public role for his brother, there is no way back," which has been evident as far back as Queen Elizabeth's removal of her son as a senior royal.
The source further said, "There has always been an agreement that Andrew would be permitted to attend private and family events, as is his right. But not public or official ones. That has not changed."
King Charles Plans To Force Prince Andrew Out Of Royal Lodge
Since last year, there's been news that King Charles requested Andrew to move out of his existing residence, the Royal Lodge, a massive ten-bedroom home in Windsor. The King offered him Frogmore Cottage, a smaller home that previously belonged to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle until their eviction.
However, Andrew has repeatedly refused Charles' requests to move out as he's lived in Royal Lodge since 2003 and doesn't want to adjust to his "downgraded" status. With the renewed sexual assault scandal, sources say King Charles will focus more on getting Andrew out of Royal Lodge.
The insider added, "When it comes to family, it is difficult. But this association is just never going to go away. And that means he [Andrew] has to." The royal family is reportedly tired of the sexual assault allegations casting a negative light on them, which has been the case since Guifrre's allegations against Epstein and Maxwell first surfaced.
The Documents Also Exposed Other Celebrities
Andrew isn't the only major celebrity that was exposed by the newly unsealed court documents. The documents also unveiled a list of celebrity guests at Epstein's island, including former US President Bill Clinton and music icon Michael Jackson.
Magician David Copperfield was also among the names and allegedly once asked one of the young victims if she knew that some girls received money to bring others.
Copperfield has now denied all allegations against him, while a representative for Clinton insisted that the former President was unaware of Epstein's "terrible crimes" during their previous friendship.
After the documents were made public and social media outrage erupted yesterday, Guiffre posted a reaction on X, formerly Twitter. She celebrated the release of the documents and noted that millions of people could now access the court files. She wrote, "We broke the website," and her tweets received millions of likes and comments of support.
