Fans have grown to love the relationship between Emily Faye Miller and Cam Holmes.
The two met on the second season of the hit Netflix reality series "Too Hot To Handle." Although Cam seemed to waver in his devotion to Emily throughout the season, the two ended the show as a couple and ultimately brought their relationship outside the villa and into the real world.
In 2023, Emily, who works as a British model, continued to advance her career, which included a swimwear collaboration with the fast fashion brand SHEIN. Although some fans questioned the ethics of partnering with the company, many other followers supported Cam and his budding music career, as he released his first single in late 2023.
Fans have been following their careers and their relationship on Instagram ever since the show ended. Now, moving into 2024, fans are looking forward to watching the couple continue their journey into being first-time parents.

On January 1, 2024, Emily Faye Miller and Cam Holmes took to Instagram to announce that they were expecting a baby in June 2024 after meeting on the second season of “Too Hot To Handle” in 2020. The news comes a year and a half after Emily, 29, suffered a pregnancy loss after she was hospitalized for an ectopic pregnancy.
“So a few weeks ago I discovered I was pregnant. Although it was a shock it was something I was also quite excited about,” Emily wrote on Instagram on June 10. “However on Tuesday, I collapsed whilst being at the shops. I cannot even describe to you the pain- it felt like my whole stomach was collapsing and was quickly rushed to the hospital.”
She said she didn’t get her scan until 3 PM the next day. Several nurses later confirmed that she had an ectopic pregnancy, which Emily described as “basically where the fetus gets stuck and grows in your Fallopian tube which is fatal, and if I had left it much longer my Fallopian tube would have burst.”

Emily said that she was “so scared,” writing, “Not only was I about to lose my baby but I was about to have my Fallopian tube removed with the potential of my ovary too.” For the scan and potential surgery, she wasn’t allowed to eat or drink for 24 hours. “So you can see in the picture I was sniffing cams protein cookie bcos I was so hungry,” she joked.
She was later taken into surgery. “I don’t know who was crying more me or Cam but was extremely emotional to say the least,” she wrote. “I had asked Cam to get me a list of food and drink for when I return but I had a panic attack when I woke up. I was dosed up with morphine because I was in so much pain that I then felt sick and had to go straight to sleep.”
After a few more blood tests and breakfast, she was discharged but still bed-bound and in a lot of pain, both physically and mentally. In the final slide of her post, she said that she “definitely ignored the signs my body was trying to tell me early on about my ectopic pregnancy” and urged girls to get an early pregnancy scan “just to be on the safe side to rule out any kind of potential problems” since ectopic pregnancies affect around 1 in 100 pregnancies.

In an interview with People magazine published on January 1, Emily admitted, "After what happened last time, I didn't even know if I'd even want to get pregnant again in case I had to go through that again," adding, "It sounds cliché, but it really is our little miracle. This is what I'm so excited for, to be able to tell people it is possible."
She revealed that she told Cam on a trip that she had planned for his birthday in October. "I was like, 'I'm not going to tell him on his birthday. I'll let him have that day for himself. I'll tell him the day after,'" she recalled. "So the day after we were out for dinner, and, honestly, I wish I recorded his reaction because it looked like someone had seen a ghost."
"I'll say it wasn't the reaction I was hoping for, but he's more of a realist," she continued. "I think, because of what happened last time, he was just very skeptical, and he was just worried, I think, is what it came down to. He was just like, 'But what if it happens again?' "

After her 12-week scan, her doctor assured her that her baby is looking healthy and she had gotten the “all clear” from medical professionals. Now, at 14 weeks, she says that she is feeling more pregnancy symptoms.
"All I do is sleep, and when I'm not asleep, I feel sick, so it's been pretty tough," she says. "Apparently, the second trimester is where it's at." At 20 weeks, they do want to know the gender of the baby; however, they are still trying to decide on names.
