An interview with Gypsy Rose Blanchard-Anderson is resurfacing as she described an intimate moment with her former boyfriend while in the men's bathroom at a movie theater.

In 2012, Gypsy Rose met Nicholas Godejohn on a Christian dating website, and they managed to have a secret relationship for years, behind her mother's back. As you may know, Gypsy Rose's mom, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, controlled and abused her daughter for years, as she convinced many (including Gypsy) that she suffered from multiple illnesses.

Gypsy Rose felt isolated, and so she joined the Christian dating website. After meeting Nicholas, the two texted in secret for three years before meeting in person in March 2015.

After the two met on the Christian dating site, Gypsy Rose and Nicholas generally discussed love, intimacy, and planning a life together over text messages, but then they began discussing needing duct tape and knives in the days before Dee Dee was murdered.

A text message exchange between Gypsy Rose and Nicholas was revealed during the trial, which showed the two conspiring to kill Dee Dee. Nicholas even brought up his “evil side” which he said, “enjoys killing.”

Gypsy Rose: “This s–ts gonna go down tonight..”

Nicholas: “Babe it’s my evil side doing it he won’t mess up because he enjoys killing.”

Gypsy: “We’ll be happy soon after this night we will never bring it up.”

Clauddine "Dee Dee" Blanchard was stabbed to death in June 2015 by Nicholas while Gypsy was in the other room.

Gypsy Rose Stands Trial For Her Mother's Murder

During her trial, Gypsy Rose testified that not only did her mother convince her she had multiple illnesses such as epilepsy and asthma, as well as suffering from leukemia, but she also physically abused her by beating her and chaining her to a bed. Over time, Gypsy said that she began realizing that she wasn’t as sick as her mom said.

Gypsy's attorney, Michael Stanfield, claimed she suffered from unnecessary medical treatment and abuse, stating that “essentially Gypsy’s mother was holding her a prisoner. Her mother would not allow her to spend any time alone with any other human being. Her mother, when they went to the doctor, did all the talking.”
