Gypsy Rose Blanchard's Viral Facebook Account Is An Impersonator's Scheme

Following her release from prison, Gypsy began her social media journey on multiple platforms like Instagram and X. However, despite its popularity among fans, she never opened the Facebook account "Gypsy-Rose Anderson."

The fake account went viral for its name as the media personality's other accounts housed her full name, "Gypsy Rose Blanchard." The inspiration behind "The Act" series recently brought the impersonator to light on her Instagram page, sharing a screenshot of the highlighted Facebook page.

The account had garnered over 5,000 followers and used Gypsy's first selfie after attaining freedom as its profile picture. "WARNING! Watch out for fake Gypsy accounts like this one," she announced in the post's caption, adding:

"My Instagram is verified, and I am working on verification on my other social media. Please be mindful of what accounts you see and follow and report any suspicious or fake accounts. Thank you."

Her update received positive responses from her 3.9 million followers, with many flooding the comment section with jokes, praises, and threats aimed at the impersonator. One social media user penned: "Fresh out of prison and already got internet beef."

Another chimed in, "Imagine being called out by Gypsy herself," while a third declared, "You literally have an army of girlies standing behind you. We love you. Do not play with Gypsy." A fourth warned the impersonator to beware, writing: "Whoever made that account, TRUST. You will be dealt with."

As stated, the fake Facebook book account generated quite the buzz among fans for being the only social media page with Gypsy's married name as its handle. The former convict tied the knot to Ryan Anderson in June during a prison wedding.

Many suspected she wanted to flaunt her blossoming relationship with her husband by naming the Facebook account "Gypsy-Rose Anderson." The bio also added to the misunderstanding, reading: "My Greatest Blessing Is My Husband And Family."

While her other social media account handles used her usual name, Gypsy added her husband's surname on her Instagram bio to become "Gypsy-Rose Blanchard-Anderson." This touching gesture was understandable, given the spouses' history.

Ryan was also the first person she came in contact with after her release. He picked her up from the Chillicothe Correctional Center in northern Missouri with a Cadillac Sedan. The vehicle flaunted a unique license plate that read "HITMAN" — a famous wrestling reference.

Surprisingly, Ryan didn't keep his moment with Gypsy a secret as he turned up with a camera crew to document his wife's highly-anticipated release. The couple then spent her first night as a free woman in a budget hotel.

The camera crew naturally got rumormongers wondering whether Ryan truly cared about Gypsy or he was using her for fame. However, it is important to note the former convict has an upcoming docuseries that may have needed her release from prison filmed.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard Shares Touching Reunion With Her Sister Following Freedom

Before revealing the fake Facebook page, Gypsy celebrated her freedom with her sister, Mia Blanchard on Instagram. The post featured a picture that appeared to have been taken during a homecoming party for the 32-year-old, given the festive decorations in the background.

In the snap, the duo flashed bright smiles for the camera as they posed side by side with their arms wrapped around each other in a warm hug. Behind them, gold balloons spelling out "welcome home" were strung on the wall, with more white balloons beside them.

For the occasion, Gypsy donned a parti-colored top with white and blue hues and flashed a bit of skin with the outfit's cutout sleeves. She paired the ensemble with jeans while her brown tresses fell down her shoulders in gentle waves.

Meanwhile, her sister donned a white long-sleeve top over a pair of black trousers and styled her blonde locks down her back. Mia also attended the party in full glam, but Gypsy opted to rock her natural beauty.

The heartwarming post captioned, "Sister Love," received over a million likes and numerous comments from fans happy to see the Blanchard sisters reunited.
