Chris Rock & Amber Rose Spark Dating Rumors With Post-Christmas Hangout

New couple alert! Chris Rock and Amber Rose might be the latest lovers in town!

The unlikely pair sparked dating rumors after they were spotted hanging out in New York City that day after Christmas.

Rock and Rose got people talking on Tuesday after they were seen out and about the day after Christmas.

The potential lovers were all smiles and shared a few hearty laughs as they took a stroll. Afterward, they headed to the comedian's apartment.

For the outing, the pair rocked similar casual outfits, with the television personality donning a faded black jacket over a hoodie and two-toned sweatpants. Rose kept her look super simple with a pair of Nike high-tops and huge sunglasses while wearing minimal makeup.

On the other hand, the stand-up comedian rocked a simple black jacket over a blue button-down plaid shirt, black pants, and white sneakers. Witnesses claimed the "Everybody Hates Chris" star looked smitten with the "Loveline" host as they had friendly banter.

Despite hanging out, Rock and Rose's relationship status remains unknown for now. However, the duo have a connection thanks to Rose's ex-boyfriend, Kanye West. In 2010, West released a song titled "Blame Game" which featured a skit by Rock where he complimented a woman's style and bedroom abilities.

It is believed that the rap hit was largely inspired by Ye's relationship with Rose. The model and the controversial rapper dated for two years before having a tumultuous breakup. She once addressed their scandalous split during an interview with Complex Magazine.

According to the mother-of-two, she was particularly heartbroken about her split from the "Donda" rapper because he publicly bullied her through his music. "I have never cheated on any of my boyfriends, and still have never said anything mean about Kanye... This is after six, seven years of constant bullying from him," she said.

Speaking of his critically acclaimed album "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" which fans believe about them, Rose said: "That is an extreme form of bullying as well, to have such a huge voice to put out an album, to say whatever the f--- you want. I had to just take that L. I had to take the heartbreak on top of it."

Although the model revealed she was glad to be part of such a history-making project, the backlash she endured almost made her suicidal. "If I was going to kill myself, I would have done it during those times," she confessed.

After Kanye, Rose has gone on to date, marry, and divorce rapper Wiz Khalifa, with whom she welcomed one son. She also publicly dated Alexander 'AE' Edwards — who is now dating Cher — but their relationship ended because he allegedly cheated. They also have a son together.

Rock has also had his fair share of dating. Before his outing with Rose, the "Grown Ups" actor was linked to actress Lake Bell for almost a year. The pair enjoyed numerous romantic vacations and date nights until Rock declared in his March Netflix special "Chris Rock: Selective Outrage" that he was single.

"I'm single. I've been single for a long time. I was married for a long time. I was dating somebody for a while. Now I'm single," he revealed.

Rock was married to Malaak Compton-Rock for 20 years from 1996 to 2016. He admitted that his many extramarital affairs contributed to the end of their relationship. After his divorce, the 58-year-old dated Megalyn Echikunwoke for four years before they called it quits in 2020.

Other women who have been linked to the comedian include Carmen Ejogo, Sharon Carpenter, and Nia Long.
