Three months after his death, Nashawn Breedlove's cause of death has finally been revealed.

The late actor reportedly died from "acute intoxication" resulting from the combination of multiple hard drugs, which include fentanyl and cocaine.

Breedlove was known for his starring role alongside famous rapper Eminem in the Oscar-award-winning movie, "8 Mile." His death shocked fans of the film, who paid tribute in droves to Breedlove.

Nashawn Breedlove Died From 'Acute Intoxication'

According to an autopsy report, Breedlove, who passed away in September, died of "acute intoxication by the combined effects of fentanyl, acetyl fentanyl, cocaine and ethanol."

The document reveals that the late rapper's body was found decomposed by police following a complaint by a neighbor about blood and a brown "malodorous" fluid sipping into a downstairs apartment.

"[The] officer and the landlord each used a crowbar to force the key locked door together. They found subject lying on the bedroom floor in a large pool of brown malodorous fluid," the document read. "A 'nip' (a small bottle of liquor) glass pipes similar to 'crack pipes' and small circular green plastic containers similar to 'clicks' paraphernalia used to store crack cocaine were found."

The autopsy report gives vivid detail on the state of Breedlove's apartment when he was found. It states: "There are many flies present and the foul odor now permeates the building. The apt. is very dirty and disheveled. There is a pile of swept-up garbage next to the bedroom."

Breedlove's manner of death was ruled an accident.

Nashawn Breedlove's Mother Confirmed His Death 

His mother, Patricia, revealed the rapper's passing via a post shared on Facebook. She wrote at the time, "It is with a heavy heart that I share the news of my beloved son Nashawn Breedlove's passing. Many of you knew him by his alias (Lotto and Ox), a name that echoed his resilience and determination."

"Nashawn was a rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. No one could deny his talent," the grieving mother continued. "Nashawn's departure from this world has left an immense void in my life, one that words cannot fully express. I can't put into words the pain and hurt that I feel. He was not just my son; he was a remarkable man whose character and strength inspired all who crossed his path."

Nashawn Breedlove Remembered For His Role In '8 Mile'

Fans of the movie 8 Mile' paid tribute to the late rapper, emphasizing his talent, while remembering his iconic scenes with rapper Eminem.

Musician Mickey Factz wrote of Breedlove, "RIP to one of the few emcees to beat Eminem… Lotto from 8 Mile. Who's friends lovingly called him OX. You will be missed for your tenacity and aggressiveness."

Another friend of the rapper said, "My best friend and brother since 15 years old. We been thru it all Rest Easy my bro luv u and the family and my nephew OX FOREVER."

A third person said, "The first mc who was ever robbed of his win in a rap battle! Rip lotto."

Eminem notable never paid public tribute to his costar after his death.
