Bradley Cooper entered full daddy mode at the press conference for his latest movie, "Maestro," following a concerning call from his daughter's school!

The renowned actor shares one child, named Lea de Seine, with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk, and he is naturally focused on his little girl. The 48-year-old loves his daughter so much that he didn't mind dashing out of the promotional event for his Netflix movie to address her health emergency.

On Thursday, a crowd gathered in New York City to celebrate Cooper's new movie, but their sweet moment with him was unexpectedly cut short by his buzzing phone. "So sorry. The school nurse just called me," he explained before leaving the conference room for some privacy.

The audience patiently waited with bated breaths, wondering what happened for the school nurse to call Cooper at a work event. They soon got the answer when he hurriedly returned to the room, anxiously telling the crowd he had to get to his daughter's school ASAP.

The "A Star Is Born" actor stressed that he needed to leave to administer medication out of bounds for the school. "I have to apply something that they won't allow," he said, without dropping further details about the drug or his daughter's condition.

As stated, Cooper shares Lea with his former girlfriend, Irina Shayk. The duo welcomed the little girl on March 21, 2017, in Los Angeles before breaking up two years later. While he no longer has romantic ties to the model, the proud dad remains grateful to her for their baby girl.

During an appearance on the Smartless podcast, the 48-year-old raved about how fatherhood changed his life. He claimed Lea's presence brought an array of colors into his world, saying:

"Fatherhood is…everything changed. Every single thing is absolutely shaded by, or brought into glorious colors, by the fact that I get to be a father to a wonderful human being."

"You have this wonderful thing or breakthrough with a script, or you have a wonderful moment on this set or in an editing room," he continued. "You have like 40 of those moments every day with your kid that are that level of joy. That's not spinning it; that's just the truth."

The gush fest continued in another interview, with Cooper sharing more details about the dad life. "Well, I've been opened up to a world of children's music, that's for sure," he joked before getting vulnerable about his fatherhood journey.

"I spent about 15 years going from movie to movie to movie. And then I hit 39, and I stopped, and I said, 'What do I really want to do?'" the Hollywood veteran recalled, adding:

"I guess having a child and having a family of my own — which is a miracle and something I've always dreamt of — has opened me up even more, I guess, to the day and to be present."

While he claimed having a child made him more present, other sources previously noted his schedules barely included his ex-girlfriend. At the time of their breakup, an insider claimed: "They spent a lot of time apart. [Irina is] not focused on the celebrity part, or on the fame — she just wants to protect her family."

"Bradley is very into work and is trying to take advantage of every career opportunity right now," the informant added. "They were living totally separate lives. If he was in Los Angeles, she's out of town, and if she was in town, he was out of town."
