A video of Courteney Cox and Matthew Perryon 'Jay Leno' is resurfacing following the passing of the 54-year-old actor.
Perry went onto the late-night talk show to discuss an upcoming film, explaining that when women go see the movie (it is unclear which film he was promoting at the time) they will feel certain emotions as it tugs on heartstrings -- and that is when Courteney Cox suddenly walked onto the stage, surprising the audience.
Courteney Cox Plants Kiss On Matthew Perry
"Matthew, I just saw the movie," she said before planting a kiss on Perry. "You better call me tonight, before work tomorrow."
The two were joking around as they promoted Perry's upcoming film and how it would touch everyone who went to see it.
But, fans couldn't help but get emotional watching the interview now that Perry has passed away. "Ugh, the way they look at each other, "one fan commented on the video as another chimed in by saying, "RIP Matthew Perry. You are the only Chandler I fancied."

After learning of Perry's passing, Cox took to social media to pay tribute to her friend.
“I am so grateful for every moment I had with you Matty and I miss you every day,” Cox began to write on social media. “When you work with someone as closely as I did with Matthew, there are thousands of moments I wish I could share. For now, here’s one of my favorites.”
She then went on to give a little backstory, “Chandler and Monica were supposed to have a one-night fling in London. But because of the audience’s reaction, it became the beginning of their love story.”
In this scene, before we started rolling, he whispered a funny line for me to say,” she said, adding, “He often did things like that. He was funny and he was kind."
‘Friends’ Fans Mourn The Loss Of Matthew Perry
On October 28, police responded to a 911 call to assist with a possible “water rescue” at the 54-year-old’s Pacific Palisades home. When they arrived, they found Matthew Perry in the heated section of his pool, unresponsive. No pills were found near the pool area, though police did find prescription drugs inside his home.
An autopsy revealed that Matthew Perry died from acute effects of the drug Ketamine. Perry was utilizing Ketamine therapy at the time of his death for anxiety and depression, however, his last known treatment overseen by a medical professional was over one week before he passed, meaning the Ketamine found in his system could not have been from therapy as the drug’s half-life is only three to four hours.
The autopsy report stated that “drowning contributes due to the likelihood of submersion into the pool as he lapsed into unconsciousness; coronary artery disease contributes due to exacerbation of ketamine-induced myocardial effects on the heart. Buprenorphine effects are listed as contributory, even though not at toxic levels, due to the additive respiratory effects when present with high levels of ketamine.”
Ketamine is approved for use at high doses as an anesthetic in the operating room. Even though ketamine has been FDA-approved and legalized for use as a general anesthetic since the 1970s, it can be abused as a recreational drug.
