Tom Brady Posts Cryptic Message About 'Cheating' Amid Gisele Divorce

Former NFL quarterback Tom Bradyposted a cryptic message on Instagram about "cheating" months after he and his wife of 13 years, Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bündchen finalized their divorce.

"A Man Is His Heart," the post was titled.

"The personality of a person. The ways of a person. His thoughts. His deeds. His actions are all based around his heart," the post began. "For what is a man? A man is his heart. A lying cheating heart means a lying cheating man."

Tom Brady and Brazilian fashion model Gisele Bündchen announced they were going their separate ways last year after they filed for divorce.

The post continued to give examples of what makes a man, a man, reading, "A loving merciful heart means a loving merciful man. A living heart means [a] living man. A dead heart means a dead man"

"Regardless to [a] man's title. Regardless of [a] man's rank, wealth, or position, if the heart is not great then he cannot be great," Brady's Instagram Story continued. "But if the heart is great that man remains great under all circumstances, rich or poor, large or small, for it is the heart that makes on large or small."

The Story is then signed by Muhammad Ali.

“In recent days, my wife and I finalized our divorce from one another after 13 years of marriage,” Brady announced on social media at the time. “We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way.”

Adding, “We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve.”

The speculation that the two were in rocky waters began when Tom Brady unexpectedly took an 11-day break from training camp in August 2022 due to “personal reasons.” After Brady returned to training camp from his 11-day absence, he released a statement saying, “Everyone has different situations they’re dealing with, and we all have unique challenges to our lives. I’m 45 years old, man.”

It should be noted, that Brady and Gisele have never commented publically about possible infidelity. Reports surfaced about the supermodel spending time with her ju-jitsu instructor -- but nothing was confirmed. Also, this cryptic post seems to point the finger at the "man."

He was more than likely just trying to avoid the press speculating about his marriage while he went through this difficult time in his life.

“We arrived at this decision to end our marriage after much consideration,” he added when announcing his divorce months later. “Doing so, is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing every day around the world. However we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives that are yet to be written,” he concluded.

The two are currently co-parenting their children, Jack Moynahan, Benjamin Brady, and Vivian Brad.

Early morning on February 1, 2023, the 45-year-old shared a video to social media, grabbing the attention of fans all over the country as he officially announced he is done playing football.

“I’ll get to the point right away. I’m retiring. For good,” he began the video by saying.

“I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first,” Brady continued. “I won’t be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year, so really thank you guys so much to every single one of you for supporting me, my family, my friends, my teammates, and my competitors, I could go on forever there’s too many.”

Holding back tears, the former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots quarterback concluded with, “Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you all.”
