Rihanna Praises A$AP Rocky's Impressive Dad Skills

Rihanna recently stepped out in a feathered purple cropped jacket and matching eye shadow at her Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty launch party in Los Angeles. She took a moment from slaying the fashion event to rave about her wonderful family, speaking to the reporter Scott Evans.

When the interviewer asked what surprised the Fenty founder the most about watching Rocky become a father of two, she wasted no time revealing her love for the rapper changed when he became a dad.

Surprisingly, she was more attracted to the "Fashion Killa" artist and playfully noted she competed for his attention with their kids. Lauding Rocky with praises, Rihanna said:

"I loved him differently as a dad. This is major, major, like; it's a turn on. It's just like, 'Wow! What a leader, what a great, patient, loving (dad).' And my kids are obsessed with him. I'm just a background, I'm an extra."

Her third wheel revelation shocked the Access Hollywood rep, who exclaimed, "What!" before Rihanna reaffirmed that Rocky's daddy charms were strong. "Yep! It happens! … It doesn't matter if it's girls or boys; they love their dad differently, and I love to see it," she confessed.

Getting turned on by her beau's parenting skills and being an extra in her family were not things the beauty mogul imagined when picturing her future. The 35-year-old confessed she had no idea what her family would be like but hoped to have kids and raise them in a loving home. In her words:

"No, you don't have an idea, you just hope. I hope that I can have kids one day, and I hope I can have them in love, and I hope that I can be a part of a family that, you know, breaks generational curses and just like moves forward and does new things."

Rihanna noted she never expected all the "beautiful things" her family has experienced; however, she did imagine her second son would inherit her iconic forehead since her firstborn did not have her looks. The singer's heartwarming conversation about her loved ones comes three months after her last child's name was revealed.

According to his birth certificate, the newest member of Rihanna and Rocky's household arrived on August 1, 2023, inside Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles at 7:41 a.m. The proud parents, who named their first son RZA Athelston Mayers, followed the "R" naming trend for their second child, Riot Rose Mayers.

While Riot's name is unique, it remains unclear if his moniker is linked to his father's music. Earlier this year, Rocky featured Pharrell Williams on a song with the same name.

The birth certificate also revealed Rihanna's OB-GYN as Thais Aliabadi, who made headlines on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" for working with Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.

Months before Rihanna praised Rocky's parenting skills, he made headlines for his legal drama with former A$AP MOB group member A$AP Relli. In September, his ex-pal filed a defamation lawsuit against the father of two, accusing him of running a smear campaign against him.

The "Praise the Lord" rapper and Relli's issues began in 2021 when the latter claimed Rocky assaulted him with a firearm. However, he added his former friend's attorney to the chopping block in 2023, accusing Joe Tacopina of ruining his image with false narratives in his client's defense.

In his legal filing, Relli alleged Tacopina and Rocky were trying to dismiss the 2021 shooting as an extortion scheme. He stated the defense attorney went on a press campaign, telling various media outlets that he was "a liar, a money grabber, and an extortionist."

As stated, the aggrieved artist believed Tacopina's actions resulted from Rocky's orders and noted he had suffered numerous consequences from their defamation schemes. Relli claimed he was the victim of various death threats after becoming fodder for the public's entertainment.

For the pain and ridicule he has endured, the plaintiff requested an unspecified compensation in damages. On the other hand, Rocky's lawyer labeled the defamation lawsuit a terrible mistake on Relli's part, describing it as a "publicity stunt which is going to backfire badly."
