Majors' ex-lover finally spoke out for the first time since the actor was found guilty of assault and harassment. The duo's relationship came to an abrupt end following an altercation on March 25 in the back of a Cadillac Escalade.

During her testimony, the dancer alleged that she suffered "excruciating" pain at the hands of the "Antman and The Wasp: Quantumania" star. She claimed that Majors twisted her arm when she took his smartphone from him after he received a text message from a person with whom he was allegedly having an affair.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Jabbari thanked the domestic violence charity that helped her during the course of the trial.

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office made a statement following Majors' guilty verdict, noting the jury had "determined" a pattern of abuse used by Majors on Jabbari.

District Attorney Alvin Bragg said, "At the Manhattan D.A.'s Office, we are committed to centering survivors in all of our work. The evidence presented throughout this trial illustrated a cycle of psychological and emotional abuse, and escalating patterns of coercion far too common across the many intimate partner violence cases we see each and every day."

Bragg continued, "Today, a jury determined that pattern of abuse and coercion culminated with Mr. Majors assaulting and harassing his girlfriend. We thank the jury for its service and the survivor for bravely telling her story despite having to relive her trauma on the stand."

In a statement thanking the court for the trial, attorney Ross Kramer, who is also the director of the Incarcerated Gender Violence Survivors Initiative, stated that Jabbari was truthful in her evidence but that there are victims of domestic abuse who are still too afraid to come forward.

Kramer said, "Ms. Jabbari testified publicly and truthfully, even though reliving these traumatic events on the witness stand was obviously painful."

The lawyer continued, "Unfortunately, for every survivor like Ms. Jabbari who comes forward to hold their abuser accountable, there are many others who believe that they cannot. We hope that her actions will inspire other survivors to speak their truth and seek justice."

Majors' defense team was notably displeased with the jury's verdict. They were thankful that the actor was found not guilty of two serious counts of assault with intent to cause harm and harassment. However, they expressed shock at the fact that Majors was still found guilty of one count of reckless assault in the third degree and a non-criminal charge of harassment as a violation.

Majors' lawyer, Priya Chaudhry, said of the verdict, "It is clear that the jury did not believe Grace Jabbari's story of what happened in the SUV because they found that Mr. Majors did not intentionally cause any injuries to her. We are grateful for that."

She added, "We are disappointed, however, that despite not believing Ms. Jabbari, the jury nevertheless found that Mr. Majors was somehow reckless while she was attacking him."

Chaudhry then noted that Majors "is grateful to God, his family, his friends, and his fans for their love and support" and that the actor "still has faith in the process and looks forward to fully clearing his name."

Majors, who was immediately dropped by Marvel after his guilty verdict, faces at least one year in prison for his crimes. His sentencing has been scheduled for February 6, 2024,
