Former actress Amanda Bynes has announced that she's putting a pause on her podcast after releasing one episode.
Bynes told her fans that despite the positive reception her podcast has received, she will not continue with it because she has been unable to book high-profile guests like Drake.
On the debut episode of her podcast, she spoke about face tattoos and how no one cares about them anymore. Bynes also recently revealed she underwent plastic surgery to fix the skinfolds at the corner of her eyes.
Amanda Bynes Announces Podcast Is Going On Hiatus After One Episode
Bynes' podcast, "Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast," is going on a break after the release of just one episode.
The former child star, who recently made her industry comeback with the podcast, thanked her followers for the positive reception while announcing that the show will have to be put on pause.
The reason for this is her inability to book famous guests for the podcast. She said on her Instagram stories, "So even though the podcast is doing really well and response has been great, I am going to take a pause on it for now."
Bynes continued, "We are not able to get the type of guests that I'd like on this show, like, say, Jack Harlow or Drake or Post Malone. So maybe one day, if we are able to get those types of guests on this show, we will resume the podcast, but for now, I'm taking a pause on it."
"Thank you everyone who watched. I really hope you enjoyed it, and that is all for now," she concluded.
Amanda Bynes Discussed Face Tattoos On Her Podcast
Bynes' podcast's debut episode was released on December 9 and featured L.A.-based tattoo artist Dahlia Moth. The former Nickelodeon star, alongside her co-host, Paul Sieminski, reminisced on how they met the model some years back when she was working at a spirit Halloween store.
Although Bynes didn't talk much about herself or her mental health struggles this year, the group of three discussed face tattoos and how no one cares for them anymore.
She said, "Nobody cares anymore if people have face tattoos. It shouldn't matter." Bynes notably has a face tattoo shaped like a heart on her left cheek. Although past reports claimed that she was planning on taking it off, it seems Bynes has moved past that idea and intends to keep the facial ink.
Fans Praised Her For Making A Comeback
Although her podcast is going on a hiatus, fans of the star thoroughly enjoyed the debut episode, as they praised Bynes and her co-host for putting on a good show.
One person said, "We love you Amanda thank you for keeping us kids who were really having a hard time at home entertained. You made us laugh when things were really hard. There are a lot of hurt people out there and our generation was raised by some people who were really struggling."
They continued, "Thank you for being a light. Thank you for being a trailblazer. Thank you for being an icon. I'm sorry you weren't protected. You deserve so much more. Thank you for everything you've done for us. I am sending you so much peace and love. BRING IN THE DANCING LOBSTAS."
Another fan noted, "Just listened to the podcast. Amanda, you look fabulous!! I'm so so proud and excited for you. Can't wait to see more!! Keep up the great work!"
Amanda Bynes Reveals She Underwent Blepharoplasty
Following her recent comeback, Bynes shared an intimate detail about herself with her followers on social media. In a short video posted to her Instagram stories, she talked about rumors circulating regarding her new look.
Bynes admitted that she underwent surgery, Blepharoplasty, to remove the skin folds on the corner of her eyes.
"So I saw a couple of stories online that say I have a new look, and I was never open about this before but I actually had Blepharoplasty surgery on the skin folds in the corners of my eyes. So I don't have those skin folds anymore," Bynes revealed in the clip.
She continued, "It was one of the best things I could have ever done for my self-confidence, and it made me feel a lot better in my skin. So I just wanted to post about that just to clear up that rumor as to why I have a new look."
The "Hairspray" actress emphasized that she feels "a lot better about" herself and is "so glad" that she underwent blepharoplasty surgery. "It was one of the greatest things I could have ever done," she added.
In another clip, the former child star shared with her fans the reason why she "usually" doesn't look good in paparazzi images. According to Bynes, it's due to the paparazzi photos being taken outside and the sunlight usually being "harsh and bright" on her skin.
