Tom Cruise Warned By Russian Lover's Ex-Husband: ‘Expensive And Luxurious Tastes’

Hollywood star Tom Cruise has been given a note of warning amid speculations about him striking up a romance with the ex-wife of a Russian oligarch.

The actor was recently linked with Russian beauty Elsina Khayrova, who was previously married to Dmitry Tsetkov. The alleged romance brewing between the duo has now seemingly spurred Tsetkov to inform Cruise that he should be ready to spend a lot to satisfy Khayrova's high taste for luxury items.

According to the Daily Mail, Dmitry Tsetkov gave Tom Cruise friendly advice amid rumors of his romance with his ex-wife, Elsina Khayrova.

The Russian oligarch was married to the female socialite for 11 years, a phase of his life that he recalls without fondness. Tsetkov claimed that during the period of his marriage to Khayrova, he spent millions of dollars purchasing clothes, handbags, and other luxurious items to satisfy her "expensive and luxurious taste."

He now expects that any new man coming into his ex's life should be prepared to equal or even surpass those expenditures, given her expectations for such lavishness.

"Irrespective of whoever she's with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life and has expensive and luxurious taste," Tsetkov told the publication.

"Tom should keep his eyes and wallet wide open," he continued, adding that he was "happy" for Khayrova and wished her "all the best."

Sharing more details about his divorce from Khayrova, Tsetkov said he lost a huge chunk of his during the three years their court battle lasted to cater to legal fees and the financial requirements of the divorce settlement.

He also mentioned that Khayrova was granted all of the luxurious items he purchased for her, with some items costing above $40,000 each.

Although he did not disclose his reasons, Tsetkov said he has yet to have any face-to-face communication with Khayrova since their split. Additionally, he has yet to broach the subject of her purported romance with Cruise.

He told the publication, "I haven't spoken with Elsina about this because our preferred method of communication is through our lawyers. She's 36; she's beautiful, financially independent, and loves life."

Prior to being seen with Khayrova, Cruise had been notoriously private about his personal life. His recent appearance at a London event with the Russian beauty has now led to speculations that they might be an item.

According to a source, the "Mission Impossible" star and Khayrova engaged in animated conversations and exchanged affectionate gestures all through their time at the event.

"They were inseparable, clearly a couple," said the insider, who was one of the guests at the party, per the Daily Mail.

The source also shared that Cruise "seemed to be besotted" with Khayrova and that they also spent some time dancing together.

"He spent most of the night dancing with Ms. Khayrova, but at one point he was just throwing himself around in the middle of a group of women," the party insider continued.

Per reports, Cruise and Khayrova reportedly turned up for the event in each other's company at about 9 p.m. on Saturday.

Khayrova donned a strapless black dress with a diamanté bow for the party in Grosvenor Square and even posed for pictures with Avramenko Aliena, a former Miss Europe contestant, before going to dance with Cruise. They reportedly left the event together in the early hours.

Neither Cruise nor Khayrova have yet to confirm their romance publicly. In the meantime, the "Top Gun" actor is rumored to be making moves to rebuild his relationship with his teenage daughter, Suri, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Katie Holmes.

The father-daughter bond was reportedly strained in recent years due to Cruise's Scientology religion. It is also said to have played a part in why  Holmes divorced him in 2012 after six years of marriage.
