Gymnast McKayla Maroney In Bikini Is A 'Trophy Worth Showing Off'

Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney received all the love in the world as she shared one of her cutest swimwear snaps to date back in October 2021. Welcoming the first of the month as she posed in a hot pink bikini and from an outdoor pool, the California-born star stunned fans as she marked October 1 on Instagram, and one user even told her that she's "a trophy worth showing off!" Flaunting her curves and her toned muscles as she continues to stay in shape since her 2016 retirement, McKayla went for a girly vibe in her Barbiecore swimwear, also wowing fans with her gorgeous facial features. The post has now earned Maroney over 111,000 likes.

Scroll for the photo. Standing thigh-deep in waters and stretching her arms forward toward the edge of the pool, McKayla leaned forward a little as she rocked a bright pink bathing suit.

Going low-cut as she flashed a little cleavage, the London 2012 Olympics face showed off her tiny waist and toned abs, also flaunting her gym-honed legs as she stood solo and backed by a larger pool flanked with loungers and palms. The pool Maroney was standing in might have been a hot tub. Either way, the bubbly feature was on.

Looking deep into the lens as she showed off her high cheekbones and plump pout, McKayla sported only a little makeup as she matched her pink lip to her swimwear. In a caption, she wrote: "October 1st" with a  pink heart emoji.

"@mckaylamaroney Very pretty and athletic! Love your long hair and very proud of you for not getting any tattoos," one fan replied. Also gushing over the former GEICO ambassador was a user saying: "You're beautiful & keep getting better looking every year and you're a trophy worth showing off!"

McKayla nails her looks, whatever she wears. In this share, she posed for a car selfie while rocking a buttercup-yellow sundress. "In the midst of darkness be light, and on grey days wear yellow," she wrote in an uplifting caption.

McKayla is a survivor of eating disorders and also of sexual abuse at the hands of jailed USA Gymnastics physician Dr. Larry Nassar.

“I want to be looked at as someone who just keeps going, because that’s what we have to do in this life,” the gymnast has shared. “For so long, I was surviving. Now I feel I’m actually living.” Of changing mindsets, the star has separately told her Glowy by McKayla followers: "Remember that it’s always okay to take a totally new perspective, mindset, outlook, and direction and refresh any stagnant energy or motivation."
