Janelle Brown is doing just fine despite her family's rocky dynamic!

Since the dissolution of her longtime marriage to Kody Brown, the "Sister Wives" star and her former beau have not seen eye to eye on several occasions. Although her ex-husband has a strained relationship with their sons, Gabe and Garrison, the entertainer remains committed to living her best life.

Janelle Brown Keeps Her Mental Health In Check By Sweating Away Her Problems

The past few months have captured plenty of drama on TLC's reality TV series about the Brown family, but the issues highlighted on the show are not enough to weigh Janelle down. In her latest Instagram Story update, the 54-year-old flaunted her happiness in a makeup-free selfie taken in a car.

The picture showed her giving a radiant smile with her teeth on display while her blonde tresses were styled back with a few tendrils falling down one side. Janelle's skin was slightly flushed red, a glow she achieved after sweating a storm at the gym. Raving about her healthy lifestyle, the entertainer's caption read:

"STRESS? WHAT STRESS? WORKOUT = SANITY !!! #SWEATYSELFIE."

The adorable image came months after the TV personality declared her support for her sons amid their ongoing beef with Kody. Instead of helping to end the rift between the father and sons, she blamed her ex-husband for expecting an apology from Gabe and Garrison in an August episode of "Sister Wives."

"Kody's still feeling like the boys need to have a conversation with him or whatever, so we're separate," Janelle said of her sons in a conversation with former wife Christine Brown. The 54-year-old confirmed she would not spend the holidays with the larger family at Robyn Brown's house, Kody's only remaining wife. In her words:

"Kody feels like they owe him a big apology and some sort of conversation and stuff for being disrespectful. I always said I pick my kids before Kody. What am I going to do, go to Robyn's house and hang out with Robyn's kids and Mary and Kody?"

Meanwhile, in his confessional, Kody claimed he wished to "clear the air" before the holidays. "If something political or something about COVID or my own experience with it comes up, and we end up devolving into an angry conversation. That's a stupidity that I'm not going to bring into my house for holidays," the patriarch explained.

Well, no matter what happens between Kody and his sons, Janelle's mental health will remain in top shape thanks to her gym life. The mother of six declared 2023 would be her year of health last December by sharing a video of her workout session.

The video, centered on her gym progress, included a scene of her lifting weights in the fitness facility. "At what point do you decide its time…time to put your health first," she wrote across the clip. "Because this has been a game changer. I'm coming for you, 2023."

The reality TV star echoed similar sentiments in the post's caption, writing: "I'm ready for you, 2023! This health journey I've been on has been incredible. The results weren't overnight, and I'm okay with that. It's all about slow and steady that wins the race. 2023 is my year!"

Weeks before noting working out protects her sanity, Janelle revealed she had no regrets about her marriage to Kody. The Plexus ambassador declared her relationship with the father of 18 was not a mistake, and she would not mind reliving the experience despite knowing their end.

Last month's episode of the TLC series captured the TV personality's emotional recollection of her love story with Kody. According to Janelle, she met the patriarch while he was dating his now ex-wife, Meri Brown, and felt instantly attracted to him as though she had been waiting for that moment.

"It was like when you see somebody that you haven't seen for a long time. There was all that emotion of like 'Oh, there you are,' you know that feeling, and I had that feeling the minute I saw him walk in the room," she recalled before noting that Kody would playfully suggest she join his family, a narrative he also supported.

Eventually, the former couple spiritually tied the knot, with Janelle becoming Kody's second wife. Now, at the end of her marriage, the mother of six confessed that she never imagined their love would reach its limits. She said in a choked-up voice:

"I know that I didn't make a mistake in marrying him. I would do it all over again. I didn't think these kinds of things had an expiration date, but it appears that our relationship might have had an expiration date."
