"Big Bang Theory" actress Kate Micucci has revealed her shocking lung cancer diagnosis, despite never smoking a cigarette in her life.

Over the weekend, Micucci took to the popular social media platform, TikTok, while in the hospital after undergoing wedge resection -- a surgery that involves removing a portion of the lung or the entire lung in an attempt to remove the disease. Luckily for her, the doctors caught it early.

“Hey everybody, this is not a TikTok, it's a ‘Sick Tok,’” the 43-year-old said in her post from over the weekend. “I’m in the hospital, but it’s because I had lung cancer surgery yesterday. They caught it really early.”

According to the American Cancer Society, for those people who don't smoke but still, get lung cancer, it can be caused by exposure to radon, secondhand smoke, air pollution, or other factors.
