Ariana Grande's Friends Allegedly Want Her To 'Slow Down' With Ethan Slater Romance

Pop star Ariana Grande's relationship with Ethan Slater is allegedly causing concern in her inner circle, as the singer frequently attends Slater's Broadway show.

Despite only dating since July, Slater has reportedly moved into Grande's apartment, prompting worries about impulsive decisions on the singer's part.

Given her dating history, including a high-profile engagement with Pete Davidson, insiders are cautious about the fast-paced romance with Slater, who ended a 10-year marriage that produced a son.

Grande's romance with new beau Slater appears to be getting stronger, but per Radar Online, insiders suggest that the "Breakup With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" singer's inner circle feels she needs to ease up.

Per the outlet, the fast pace of Grande's romance with Slater has raised concerns within her inner circle, as her friends fear that it might cause her to make impulsive decisions after just recently finalizing her divorce from Dalton Gomez, whom she married in 2021.

An insider noted that the "Thank U, Next" hitmaker "falls hard and fast."

"That's who she is," the source shared. "Everyone is telling her to slow down before she makes another mistake — but she is that girl who can never stay single for long."

Grande and Slater reportedly started their relationship in July during their collaboration on the "Wicked" film adaptation. Despite being in the early phase of their romance, insiders claim that the "Redheads Anonymous" actor has already moved into Grande's multimillion-dollar apartment.

According to sources, Grande and Slater also spend a lot of time together despite their busy schedules. An insider who spoke to National Enquirer (per Radar Online) revealed that although Slater is currently starring in Spamalot on Broadway,  the "Dangerous Woman" hitmaker has been a frequent audience member.

"Ariana has shown up at Ethan's Broadway show at least five times and plans to keep going at least once a week," the source said, adding, "Her presence in the audience is freaking everyone out!"

It was previously reported that Grande issued a strict directive to her inner circle, instructing them to remain tight-lipped about her romance with Slater until their divorces from their exes are finalized.

"Ariana has asked all her friends not to talk about it — at least not until both of them are officially divorced," a source shared after Grande finalized her divorce from Gomez.

When questioned about the relationship, Grande's "Wicked" co-star Cynthia Erivo allegedly distanced herself from the topic. The source noted, "It's an uncomfortable situation for Cynthia. She was a witness when Ariana and Ethan fell in love. She knows everything but she's keeping it under wraps."

Concerns about Grande's current relationship with Broadway star Slater are understandable, given her dating history. Before marrying Gomez in 2021, the "7 Rings" singer had a well-publicized engagement with comedian Pete Davidson, starting shortly after ending her long-term relationship with the late rapper Mac Miller in September 2018.

Shortly after announcing her relationship with Davidson, the lovebirds got engaged but later called it off in October 2018. Two years later, Grande started dating Gomez in May 2020, and they were engaged within months, marrying less than six months later. However, the couple's separation was revealed in July 2023 following rumors of her current relationship with Slater.

Reports claim that Grande and her ex-husband insist there was no overlap between their relationship and Grande's connection with Slater. On the other hand, suspicion arose when Slater swiftly revealed the end of his decade-long marriage to Lily Jay, mere weeks after Grande's updated marital status became public knowledge.

Slater and Jay, who shared a decade-long relationship, tied the knot in November 2018 and welcomed their child in 2022. Reports suggest that Jay was caught off guard by the divorce filing. In a chat with Page Six, the mother of one slammed Grande for not being a "girl's girl," adding that her family was "just collateral damage."
