Adele has set the record straight on her relationship status!
The "Easy on Me" hitmaker seemingly snuck in a comment about her partner Rich Paul's role in her life in her minutes-long acceptance speech at The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment gala that was held recently.
The remark comes amid multiple speculations that Adele and Paul had walked down the aisle within the last month.
Adele Publicly Referred To Rich Paul As Her 'Boyfriend' Amid Nuptial Speculations
When Adele climbed the stage to accept her Sherry Lansing Leadership Award, she opened up with a joke about needing a drink due to jet lag.
She then shared, "I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from this event tonight. The scholarship had me in floods of tears," before focusing on some people off-camera. She continued:
"Girls, congratulations. Absolutely beautiful to watch you. My boyfriend Rich was costumier so I'll cry at anything but obviously that's absolutely worth it."
Later during the ten-minute speech, the "Rolling in the Deep" singer expressed her appreciation for her man's late mom for raising him to be a "proper man."
"I actually have many men in my life who I love and who love me, but in the spirit of this morning and in fear of bras being burned, I'm gonna thank their mothers and not them," she shared, adding:
"I would like to thank Minerva Martin. Thank you to them for raising [a] good man who [does] not think that a woman's power diminishes their own. That's a proper man. Thank you."
The Grammy Awards winner had previously gotten people's engines roaring when she supposedly confirmed that she and Paul had gotten married. Adele had reportedly shared the news of her nuptials with audience members at Alan Carr's show in Los Angeles last month.
One eyewitness, who was seemingly at the comedy event recounted, "I was at Alan Carr's comedy show in LA tonight and Adele was in the audience. Alan asked the crowd if anyone got married recently and Adele shouted, 'I did.'"

While confirming that the English superstar actually said "I did," a second audience member, who claimed to be at Dynasty Typewriter theatre that night, disclosed, "Adele was sitting right behind me with a friend having the best time. Her security only came in to bring her snacks. She didn't care if people knew she was there was heckling him [Carr]; they're best friends."
The supposed confirmation follows previous talks about the one memorable moment in September when Adele spilled some tea on her private life — and secret wedding — during her Vegas residency when she turned down a concertgoer's advances.
As seen in a viral TikTok clip, during the show, a fan had proposed to the mother of one, shouting, "Will you marry me?" In response, the BRIT School graduate stated, "You can't marry me. I'm straight, my love, and my husband's here tonight."
The Primetime Emmy Award Winner Attempted To Hid Her Wedding Ring
Even more fuel was added to the fire when Adele appeared in public days after the "I did" saga wearing a massive bling on her wedding finger. The pop star and Paul were spotted sitting courtside at the Crypto.com arena, where the Los Angeles Lakers played against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, November 22.
For their first public sighting since speculations of their wedding surfaced, the Golden Globe Awards recipient paired a cream-knitted sweater with a pair of green cargo pants, multiple gold necklaces, and gold earrings. The 12-time Brit Awards queen looked stunning with her hair slicked back, showcasing her glamorous makeup.
Adele also radiated joy while snuggling up to Paul, who was in a zip-up jacket, faded jeans, a black baseball cap, and white sneakers. The couple shared fits of laughter throughout the game, while the "Set Fire to the Rain" singer made efforts to conceal the attention-grabbing sparkler under her cozy sweater.
As The Blast observed, the mezzo-soprano vocalist was consistently captured with a smile as the camera panned on her, enthusiastically cheering on the players in front of a packed-out crowd.
