Scott Baio is not going to sit back quietly and let Nicole Eggert drag him through the mud on TV, because he’s now headed to “Good Morning America” to claim his old co-star is a liar.
Sources close to the situation tell The Blast Baio will appear Wednesday morning on the first hour of GMA and adamantly deny that he had an inappropriate sexual encounter with Eggert while she was underage. He’s currently on a plane headed to NYC.
The former “Baywatch” star appeared Tuesday on “Megyn Kelly Today” and said she was 14-years-old when Baio molested her, and then claims they had sex when she was 17.
After watching Eggert with Megyn Kelly, Baio’s rep, Brian Glicklich, told The Blast “These false claims are part of a regular pattern of making outrageous and untrue statements. Nicole Eggert, on national television today, acknowledged that she had no answer to the fact that her core claim of having underage sex was proven to be untrue in a 2013 radio interview, not just in her own words, but actually in her own voice.”
As we previously reported, Eggert appeared on a radio show in 2013 and first alleged the sexual interaction with Baio while she was a minor.
