Scott Baio Claims Nicole Eggert Court Case with Ex Proves His Side of the Story

Scott Baio believes a court case involving Nicole Eggert and her celebrity boyfriend from 10 years ago helps him prove that she is lying about him now.

Baio cryptically said of Eggert during his "Good Morning America" interview on Wednesday that he was "not the first person she’s done this to" (the remark comes at the 2:50 mark of the interview below).

What the "Charles in Charge" star is referencing is a 2008 case where Eggert accused Leor Dimant — better known as DJ Lethal from House of Pain and Limp Bizkit — of physical abuse, including burning her with cigarettes.

The case went to trial and was eventually thrown out. It was reported by TMZ at the time that the judge said Eggert changed her story too many times.

During the "GMA" interview, Baio pointed to inconsistencies in Eggert's story about when they had sex as proof of his innocence.

In reference to the DJ Lethal case, a rep for Baio tells The Blast, "Nicole Eggert has a problem with the truth that goes back many years. The more you find out about her background, and the more you listen to her ever-changing story about Scott Baio, the harder it is to believe anything she says, which is a real shame, since her falsehoods are damaging the many women who have genuinely been harmed."

Nicole Eggert issued a statement to The Blast, saying, "There is a difference between not cooperating with the DA to put someone in jail for years who just needed rehabilitation and changing my story vs. speaking out against a sexual predator."
