Cardi B & Offset Spark Divorce Rumors, Unfollow Each Other On Social Media

Rapper Cardi B and her husband Offset have made headlines again for their marital issues. The duo, who have been married since 2017, recently unfollowed each other on Instagram.

Cardi B also shared a cryptic message on her Instagram stories, hinting at outgrowing relationships and expressing her desire to stop protecting people's feelings.

In the past, Cardi B and Offset have faced trouble in their marriage. They split briefly back in late December 2018 in the wake of Offset's infidelity coming to light.

The "Bodak Yellow" singer recently took to her Instagram stories to talk about "outgrowing relationships" and being "tired of protecting people's feelings" to the detriment of her own well-being.

It is speculated that the post was directed at her rapper husband, with whom she shares two children, Kulture Kiari Cephus and Wave Set Cephus. Further fueling the rumors about their alleged marital troubles is the duo's act of "unfollowing" themselves on Instagram. This was said to have occurred sometime between Monday and Tuesday.

Despite the unfollowing, they still maintain pictures of each other on their respective Instagram pages, including posts from Mother's Day and Father's Day earlier in the year. The cover image for their collaboration, "Jealousy," is also retained on both platforms.

After news spread of the couple's drama, many fans took to social media to accuse the duo of chasing clout.

One fan said, "Unfollowing each other while they are cuddled up on the couch probably," while another added that the couple was about to drop new music and were "just starting drama to build hype."

A third follower claimed that the duo was trying to take attention from Nicki Minaj's new project due to the music rivalry between Cardi B and Minaj. The fan said, "They do this just for attention; it's Nicki Minaj's week, so they can't let her get the attention."

One other social media netizen also hinted at the duo possibly having infidelity issues again by addressing Cardi B's cryptic message about outgrowing relationships. The fan commented, "Outgrowing is the new term for getting cheated on."

Since tying the knot in 2017, Cardi B and Offset have run into issues in their marriage, culminating in a separation in December 2018 after it came to light that the "Clout" crooner cheated on the female rapper.

They later reunited in early 2019, and in 2020, Cardi B opened up about why she took the decision to forgive her husband's infidelity.

"When me and my husband got into our issues—you know, he cheated and everything—and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me," the female rapper said in an interview with Vogue.

She added, "A lot of women felt disappointed in me. But it's real-life s--t. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, you're not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation."

Back in June, it was the turn of Cardi B to face cheating allegations as Offset accused her of doing so in a since-deleted Instagram post.

However, Cardi B refuted the allegations in no time, taking to a Twitter Space to say that if she truly had cheated, it wouldn't remain a secret.

"Come on now. I'm f----- Cardi B," she said at the time. "I think sometimes motherf----- forget I'm Cardi B. If I was giving this p---- to anybody, it would be out. I'm not just anybody."

She added, "Can't f--- no regular-degular-shmegular, 'cause they're gonna tell the world. And I can't f--- anybody in the industry, 'cause they gonna tell too."

Cardi B also slammed her husband for making her get stressed over his accusations. She said, "Don't play, motherf------. Got me looking f----- crazy and s--- for no reason."
