Gymnast McKayla Maroney Is Braless In The Gym To Show What's 'Underrated'

Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney stunned fans in a skimpy workout two-piece on Instagram last year as she uploaded two photos and revealed what she thinks is "underrated." The California-born star, who retired in 2016, is still in tip-top shape, and this post offered a little insight into how she maintains her gymnast physique.

Sharing a selfie from the gym alongside one of herself in a parking lot, McKayla showed off her cute workout style as she rocked a peach-colored outfit, also championing the braless trend. Maroney is followed by over 1 million on IG, and her fans have left over 100,000 likes.

Seemingly on her way to the gym in her first photo, McKayla held her phone above her head while snapping a quick selfie from a parking lot. Sending the camera a neutral expression and a dash of confidence, the Gold Medal winner rocked a short-sleeved, peach-colored crop top as she ditched the bra, adding in a high-waisted pair of matching shorts.

Going figure-hugging, McKayla showed hints of her washboard abs, also flashing her toned legs as she wore a gold backpack and her dark locks tied back. Also wearing earbud headphones, the brunette looked ready to sweat!

McKayla returned in full workout mode and surrounded by resistance machines as she took a brief pause from her training session to snap another selfie. This time showing more of her cute ensemble, the former GEICO spokesperson sizzled as she flaunted her muscular frame, also showing some curves with her clingy crop top. McKayla kept glam with a French manicure as she accessorized her look with a gold pendant necklace.

"Peach is an underrated color," she wrote.

McKayla's fans were quick to gush over the post, and one user even seemed keen to marry the star. "We should get married and I'll spend all of my days taking care of you in any & every possible way!" they wrote.

Maroney returned to Instagram later that month in swimwear mode, and with big news. In April 2022, she launched a lip gloss collab with Miage Beauty, posing in a pink ribbed bikini to promote it and delivering her announcement via an excited-sounding caption.

Saying she was "ecstatic" about the launch, the Glowy by McKayla founder wrote: " It’s the best-tasting lip gloss in the game. It tastes like those thin mint Girl Scout cookies, mixed with the warmest vanilla. I dare you to get it."

"This has been my favorite everyday lip gloss for a while now - I’ve been dying to tell you about it. It has the prettiest shine, but it’s not super sticky like some other lip glosses that stick to your hair when it gets windy. I’m in Palm Springs rn and I can attest this did not happen," she added.
