Fans attending Super Bowl LII today have a greater challenge facing them than either the New England Patriots or Philadelphia Eagles ... they'll be attempting to devour thousands of pounds in stadium delicacies.
Devoted followers of both "The City of Brotherly Love," and the "The Bay State," will feel at home eating a New England Clam Roll or South Philly Roast Pork Sandwich.
The impressive numbers come with how much grub they're bringing in to feed the insatiable crowd. Here's the rundown:
32,000 hot dogs/brats/sausages
10,000 peanuts
11,000 sandwiches (burgers, pulled pork, hand-carved)
6,500 pretzels
7,000 nachos
9,000 chicken tenders
2,600 lbs of cheese curds
3,000 lbs of chicken
1,000 lbs of shrimp
1,000 lbs of fruit
2,000 lbs of veggies
650 gallons of ketchup
3,500 cups of coffee
45,000 bottles of water
It should also be noted that U.S. Bank Stadium has 979 restroom fixtures, and a stadium capacity 66,655. Good luck.
