Emily Ratajkowski Criticized For Cheeks-Out Bikini Showoff

Emily Ratajkowski has fallen under fire as she promotes her Inamorata swimwear line. The supermodel, 32, has 700,000 fans following her brand's Instagram, but she didn't get the usual outpouring of love in this share. In May, Emily shared a snap of herself being photographed near a beach as she hyped up her swimwear collab with Mirror Palais.

The post showing EmRata in a cheeky bikini and being photographed by Mirror Palais founder Marcelo Gaia saw one fan challenging Emily over her status as a feminist. The reply launched a debate about double standards as Emily continued to use her sex appeal to sell her brand, although sales of the collab likely didn't suffer as a result.

The collab, inspired by the beach culture of Brazil, took Emily out to Rio de Janeiro.

Posing back to the camera from a high deck overlooking gorgeous beaches and ocean waters, Emily showed off her famous frame in a tiny two-piece. Modeling a green and white string bikini with a halterneck design and a thong finish, the London-born sensation drew attention to her peachy rear and toned legs, showcasing her slender back as Marcelo crouched down to capture her.

Emily turned around a little to face the camera, then returned in both photo and video mode for a better view of her plunging bikini. Flaunting her cleavage and rock-hard abs, EmRata sizzled in the gallery, one captioned:

"We are almost completely sold out of the collection! Thank you to everyone who purchased and to the incredible @mirrorpalais and @inamoratawoman teams. We’re working on a replenishment ASAP. In the meantime shop our remaining stock and sign up for email alerts @inamoratawoman. We love you all!"

The response has been very mixed. "Such a feminist," one fan commented, with the comment kicking off a slew of replies.

It looks like Emily was in luck. Users came out to defend the swimwear designer, with one fan writing: "What does wearing a bikini on the beach have to do with feminism?"

Pointing out that Emily embraces her femininity via her decision to wear whatever she wants, another chimed in, saying: "Why do you see a problem with a woman having the autonomy to decide what to do with her own body? this is exactly what feminism preaches, the freedom and autonomy of women." Meanwhile, a third fan stated that feminism was actually about "empowering women" and that "enabling people to make poor choices" is the opposite of empowerment.

Emily has since posted to the Inamorata IG to promote new pieces from her brand. In her latest share, the brunette showcased her jaw-dropping frame in a skimpy blue bikini while posing by a giant ceramic pot.

The November 24 post also offered fans 50% off their purchases to celebrate Black Friday.
