Julie Urhman, President of Angel City Football Club, is getting divorced from her wife after 11 years of marriage.

Kelly Jo Kirkpatrick filed for divorce from Uhrman on November 29, citing "irreconcilable differences," as the reason behind the split.

According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, the former couple shares here minor children ages 12 and 15.

Urhman's ex-wife is asking the court to order joint custody of the kids.

In the filing, the soccer legend's ex-wife is asking the court to award her spousal support. But, she is hoping the former couple can hash out a custody and child support arrangement that allows them to co-parent.

Kirkpatrick is asking that "Both parties communicate in advance of work or personal obligations and make sure to add to the families shared calendar at least a month in advance. Long trips of more than a couple days should be discussed before committing to them and agreed upon by both parties."

Adding, "Unless it is an emergency then it would be communicated ASAP and both parties would work on agreeable arrangements. Both parties work to support work commitments, health, and happiness of each other and the children."

Recently, Uhrman opened up about her soccer team, saying it has become an increasingly popular sport due to two things.

"One it is a global sport, not just American sport," she told CBS at the time, adding, "Second, we have the best players in the world who consistently win and people want a champion and support winners, which makes us the best in the world. That's why I think it has the attention and support."

"There's so much that you learn in sports that help you in your professional life and I feel it's hard to be an entrepreneur and not be an athlete to begin with," Uhrman stated during the interview.

She continued, "When you are a part of a team it is about being a leader, being a team, taking on defeat along with victory together, and learning how to overcome those obstacles."

Angel City was built with three female co-founders including, Academy Award-winning actress Natalie Portman and technology venture capitalist Kara Norman. It is based in Los Angeles and was formed in 2020.

Many other big-name celebrities are investors of the Angel City Football Club, including Christina Aguilera, Sophia Bush, Becky G, Jennifer Garner, Eva Longoria, P.K. Subban, Gabrielle Union, and Lindsay Vonn. The team is worth $180M with its 100 investors.

Uhrman previously stated that being part of Angel City "means community, means impact, means winning, it means being reflective of the community - it means being led by women."

"For us it is about telling our story and building awareness for Angel City and how we built this club differently focused on mission and capitol. How we give back and include the community. That's how we judge success and what we wake up every day doing," Uhrman added.

Under Head Coach Freya Coombe, Angel City finished its inaugural 2022 season with the second-best on-field record of any expansion team in NWSL history.

"ACFC isn’t just another football club; it’s a mission-driven organization with impact built into its business structure," the official website states in regard to how important this organization is. "Under the club’s unique sponsorship model, 10% of each corporate partner’s contribution goes to a community organization."

"Since its inception, the club has been forming deep roots in the LA community through its outreach and impact work, which includes initiatives in education, food security, sports equity, LGBTQ+ and gender equality, and more," the website added.

"At some point, we want the world to look at sports without a gender filter," Uhrman told CBS. "It is just incredible team competition."

Uhrman has yet to respond to the divorce.
