Hailey Bieber Eating Passion Fruit In Bikini Deemed Inappropriate

Hailey Bieber faced a tough crowd as she stripped to a stringy bikini and fed herself passion fruit on Instagram earlier this year. The supermodel was in full promo mode for her Rhode skincare brand's latest release, one receiving a ton of press and also seeing her strip down to swimwear to showcase the Passionfruit Jelly lip product she was plugging.

Hailey stunned the camera as she wove the passion fruit name into a series of sun-soaked photos, but fans were quick to raise eyebrows. Many felt that the images were too sexualized for a beauty product. Of course, the March shares also came as Hailey made global headlines for her alleged feud with 31-year-old singer Selena Gomez.

Leaving little to the imagination as she highlighted her world-famous physique, Hailey posed with fresh passion fruit as she fed herself the nutritious fruit also glamming up with chunky bangles, chain neckline jewelry, and a sunkissed face of makeup.

Ine one share posted to the Rhode Instagram, Hailey drew attention to her glossy lips as she scooped some of the fruit and used a yellow-manicured hand. All slicked-back hair and wearing tons of bronzer, the wife to Justin Bieber exuded sporty beach babe vibes, also seen in separate images where she modeled a rashguard-style bikini and got her backside all covered in sand.

In her March 29 share, one posted to her own Instagram, Hailey wrote: "PASSIONFRUIT JELLY. New passionfruit jelly peptide lip treatment is coming 4/6. Sign up for the waitlist now rhodeskin.com @rhode."

"Do we have to sexualize everything? This is an add for lip balm ffs," one fan said, with over 3,000 others liking the comment. "Why is a lipgloss being sexualised," another said. Endless more users replied along the same vein. "If a product needs sexual ads to be sell… i am not sure about quality," a third fan chimed in. Hailey stayed quiet amid the backlash, pushing on with her promo and also launching her brand in Canada. All this came as the Victoria's Secret model continued to undergo online bullying from fans supporting former Disney star Selena Gomez.

Hailey's Instagram following did drop a little in the wake of the Selena Gomez drama, but it doesn't look like the blonde's brand has suffered.

Just yesterday, 2022-founded brand Rhode celebrating hitting 1 million followers on Instagram. "Thankful and grateful for one million of you," the company wrote. Hailey has since moved on to all things donut for her latest beauty release.
