Tina Knowles is coming to her daughter Beyoncé's defense after rumors surfaced that the legendary singer "bleached" her skin.
Over the Thanksgiving weekend, Beyoncé and her team attended the premiere of her highly-anticipated movie, "Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé" in Los Angeles.
Queen B opted for a completely silver look and platinum hair in line with the futuristic silver theme of the Renaissance era. However, her appearance sparked speculations that the record-breaking Grammy winner lightened her skin — something Mama Tina couldn't tolerate.
Tina Knowles Tears Apart Bleaching Accusations From 'Bozos'
Three days after the eventful premiere, Tina Knowles took to Instagram to finally address the rumors of her daughter looking "whiter" than usual. She shared a compilation clip that began with a photo of Beyoncé at her movie premiere with the criticisms pasted on it, followed by past pictures of her daughter being a "brown skin girl."
"She's not a Black woman," "She whitens her skin," and "She lied on her origins" were among the many comments from fans that seemingly caught the attention of Ms Tina.
"Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid, ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white," Ms Knowles began her rant towards the critics.
She continued, explaining the rather apparent reason why Beyoncé’s complexion might have looked lighter. "She does a film called The Renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire, and you bozos decide that she's trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin?"
For the screening of her tour documentary, Beyoncé was the center of the spotlight in a sparkly strapless silver Versace gown, paired with matching long gloves and sandal heels.
Queen Bey ditched her trademark honey-blonde hair color for a straight platinum style to match the event's theme of "Cozy Opulence."
The mother-of-two was not at all pleased with people of African-American descent who ran with the information on social media. "How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy? Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown... ALIEN Superstar duh," she wrote, referencing her daughter's hit track.
Tina Knowles Says 'White Woman' Reached Out About Beyoncé’s Appearance

Perhaps what made Mama Knowles furious and pushed her over the edge was a white woman reaching out to Beyoncé’s stylist asking about her appearance.
"What's really sad is that a white woman had the audacity to reach out to Neal Beyonces hairstylist she was from TMZ to say that the fans are saying that she wants to be white and she wanted to get a statement about it from Neal. Well that made, my blood boil!"
The aggrieved mother explained that she was perplexed "that this white woman felt so entitled to discuss her blackness," but what disappointed her the most was the Black people "lying and faking" on social media. "Yes, you bozos," she angrily declared.
The 69-year-old explained that Black women have always worn platinum hair and they have always been subjected to "whitening" accusations at one point or the other. "Are they all trying to be white?" she demanded. "I am sick and tired of people attacking her [Beyoncé]."
She continued, "Every time she does something that she works her a-- off for, and is a statement of her work ethic, talent, and resilience. Here, you sad little haters come out of the woodwork."
Ms Knowles called out the "jealousy, racism, sexism, and double standards" trolls perpetuate whenever the "Cuff It" singer releases a project. "Instead of celebrating a sister or just ignoring if you don't like her. I am sick of you losers," she lamented.
The famous fashion designer then cleared the air, saying her daughter did not particularly approve of her message. "I know that she is going to be p---ed at me for doing this, but I am fed up! This girl minds her own business. She helps people whenever she can. She lifts up & promotes black women and underdogs at all times."
