The Epic Battle Begins Again: Nudacris Vs. The Christmas Tree!

Out of sight out of mind. TikTok famous sphynx Nudacris probably didn't give a second thought to his winter enemy, the family Christmas tree, until the tree reappeared this holiday season. Seems like now, all bets are off.

It didn't take long for the sassy cat to remember he has beef with the holiday tree and pick up where he left off last year. While his owner, Lisa Holder, tries everything she can to get the menacing cat to accept the tree for the holidays, nothing seems to be working.

The beloved guy is no stranger to fighting the Christmas tree. Last year, his first holiday season, proved that he is not a fan of having the tree in the house and he will do whatever it takes to show the tree who's boss.

This year for his second Christmas, things aren't starting out much differently between Nudacris and the festive tree. The mischievous feline didn't wait too long to put his arch-nemesis in his place once the family put the tree up.

"I couldn’t even get the Christmas tree together before he was already under it and trying to eat it! It’s gonna be a long month," Holder captioned her first video of Nudacris taking notice that his enemy is back for round two.

"So, I got the tree up from last year, which is tree number two," she said in the video. "And, oh s---, he's already here. He's already down here."

Viewers then hear Holder tell Nudacris to stop chewing on the tree, as Nudacris doesn't seem too bothered by her demands.

"I don't even know if I'm gonna be able to decorate it again this year," she continued to explain. "Because of him."

One loyal follower dropped into the comments to say, "Did you really expect there to be no issues with the tree when he harasses everything and everybody??"

Another follower added, "Nudacris to the tree: Your days are numbered and I don’t mean New Year's Eve."

One viewer shared, "I always get scared cats will get electrocuted doing this," to which Holder replied, "Yep in part two of this video I catch him chewing on an electrical cord and I even sprayed the bitter spray on it."

In a follow-up video, Holder shows how Nudacris just won't leave the poor tree alone, and even starts to take aim at the electrical cord.

"Come on, dude," Holder says anxiously to Nudacris, who doesn't seem phased at all by any of what's going on. "He's starting to eat the tree. Hey, that is the cord. We're not playing around with you. No, I'm not letting him get electrocuted."

Viewers hear Holder conclude the video by telling her husband, "He won't learn. He'll be a fried fat cat."

Other cat owners dropped some suggestions into the comments for Holder.

"I ordered a cloth chandelier cord cover and my cats leave it alone," one person shared. Another added, "Saw another tiktoker who put up a plexi glass-like tripod wall and you could still see the tree but no kitties allowed!"

Another fan swooped in with some logic saying, "He is who he is. He has not behaved, not one day of his life."

A series of videos on TikTok last holiday season showed just how much the cat wanted to rid his life of the pesky tree. At one point, Holder just gave in and called him "one big n---- ornament."

"It is Nudacris' world and we are just living in it," one viewer hilariously wrote in the comments."

Another joked, "It’s beginning to look a lot like Nudacris-mas."

Shortly after the tree was put up last year, the trouble-making kitty was already wreaking havoc.

"Nudacris is a mess. He will not leave this tree alone. I think he is playing a game at this point to see if I can catch him before he scales to the top of the tree!" a video of Nudacris trying to tackle the tree was captioned.
