Amy Schumer made sure her wedding to chef Chris Fischer earlier this week was one-of-a-kind by enlisting friend and comedian John Early to officiate ... in character, of course.

Early revived his famous Southern Christian, denim-loving "Vicky" character – which he features in his stand-up as well as the 2016 Netflix comedy series, "The Characters."

We're told Amy and Chris wrote their own vows, and the entire wedding party and guests were cracking up the entire time.

As we previously reported, Schumer and Fischer wed at a private home in Malibu just before Valentine’s Day. Sources at the wedding tell us some major stars in attendance included Larry David, David Spade, Jake Gyllenhaal and Jennifer Lawrence.

We're told some of Schumer's famous pals couldn't attend because the wedding was thrown together so quickly – many guests were even invited by text message.

Something tells us Vicky may be doing many more weddings in the near future.
