Sam Asghari Posts Shirtless Thirst Trap As Britney Spears Deletes Instagram

Actor Sam Asghari waited until his ex, Britney Spears, deactivated her Instagram account to post a shirtless thirst trap featuring their dog, Porsha.

The former couple, who met on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video in 2016, became engaged in September 2021, two months before her controversial 13-year conservatorship came to an end. In October 2021, Sam gifted Britney a Doberman puppy named Porsha as an engagement gift.

However, it was determined that Sam would keep Porsha in a custody agreement concerning their five dogs amid their divorce. The former couple tied the knot in June 2022, but Sam filed for divorce on August 16, 2023, just over a year later.

On Sunday night, fans who tried to view the pop star’s Instagram page were greeted with a message that read, “Sorry, this page isn’t available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Go back to Instagram.”

It is unclear why Britney decided to deactivate her Instagram page now, over a month after her tell-all memoir "The Woman In Me" hit bookshelves. The pop star did not post anything over the Thanksgiving weekend and it is not clear who she celebrated the American holiday with.

On Sunday night, the “Special Ops: Lioness” actor took to Instagram to share a carousel with three slides. In the first, he is walking Porsha, who has a body harness and a thick corded leash. It looks like a hot day, as the dog has her tongue hanging out of the side of her mouth.

Sam looks down at his dog through his sunglasses. The muscles in his biceps look slick with sweat as he looks down at his dog, wearing nothing but black shorts, white crew socks, and Nike sneakers. Fans who swipe to the right are treated to a video of Sam doing pull-ups on a gate as people walk past him on the trail.

The third photo is a still photo of Sam and his dog walking toward the camera, his sculpted abdomen on full display for his 2.9 million Instagram followers. Even though Britney has over 40 million followers on Instagram, fans still took the time to praise the actor.

“Thank you for leashing and harnessing your dog! Cuties!” one fan exclaimed. “Wow, this is a really nice one Mr. Sam,” another follower wrote. “Dude, you look really amazing,” a third fan gushed. “I wish I had that dedication in the gym,” another follower chimed in. “Such a good boy… both you and the dog lol,” another fan joked.

Although it’s not clear how Britney Spears spent her Thanksgiving holiday, Sam made sure to let his followers know that he was hard at work in the kitchen to promote a good cause. “@projectangelfood thank you for allowing me the opportunity to feed angels with you on Thanksgiving,” he wrote in the caption along with a prayer hands emoji.

Although some fans praised his “selfless” act, other followers felt that it didn’t “count” if he was “promoting” himself. “The best volunteers are the most silent,” one user commented. “When you have to post yourself doing something good for others it doesn’t count,” another follower shared. “Why didn’t he do this before the divorce?” a third netizen asked.

However, some fans did praise the 29-year-old actor for spending his holiday in service to others. “Well Done Sam. Keep using your position to raise the status of others less fortunate & spreading kindness to all persons,” one fan commented. “What a beautiful human giving their time to Project Angel Food,” another follower shared. “Handsome inside and outside,” a third fan chimed in.

“It’s great to see your efforts and what you do to help others. This can be a tough time of year for people and I’m sure your acts of kindness brought a smile to their faces!” another follower shared as another fan called his charity service on the Thanksgiving holiday "very admirable."
