Kanye West Reportedly 'Broke Down' After Learning Of Daughter North's Wish To Live With Him

Yeezy founder Kanye West reportedly got emotional after his daughter, North West, expressed her desire for a simpler life with him, leading to the realization that she "needs him."

The Grammy-winning rapper put aside his commitments and took her on a holiday trip to Dubai and Saudi Arabia for a precious father-daughter time.

West was not in the company of his wife, Bianca Censori, who flew back home to Australia as she understood that the pair needed some time alone.

The revelation came when West's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, disclosed on her Hulu show, "The Kardashians," that North cried about wanting to live a simpler life with her father in his apartment, as against her $60 million Calabasas mansion with security, nannies, and chefs.

According to the Daily Mail, a source close to the situation shared that North's heartfelt plea struck a chord with West, adding that the "Donda" rapper "broke down" after hearing of the 10-year-old's tantrum and took her on a holiday vacation to Dubai and Saudi Arabia.

"Kanye needed to spend time with North," the source told the news outlet. "After he saw what Kim said on the show he broke down because he realizes [sic] how much North needs him."

"Hearing this from Kim about North angered Kanye and made him very upset. North is definitely a daddy's girl and Kanye misses not seeing her every single day," the insider went on. "It was a moment of vulnerability for Kanye. North expressed her feelings, and it was clear how much she values the time spent with her father."

For his father-daughter timeout trip, West was not in the company of his wife, Bianca Censori, who reportedly flew back home to Australia to afford them some alone time.

The source revealed that the rapper opted not to go with her, and she understood as reports suggest that the pair are "taking a break" in their relationship.

"It was made clear to her that Kanye would only be taking North with him," the source shared, adding that he "needed to spend time with North, and Bianca understood."

Following Kardashian's revelation of West and Censori living in an apartment with "no security," a source told the Daily Mail that Censori was irked by it and believed the SKIMS founder put her kids' safety "in jeopardy."

"The public doesn't need to know that their kids would be without protection at any time," the source went on. "She just wants Kim to stop talking about her husband, Kanye, in a negative light to try and make herself look better."

The reality TV star and North rang in the holiday with a festive TikTok lip-sync to one of West's songs. 

In a video shared on their joint TikTok account, the duo can be seen miming and lip-syncing to West's 2013 song "Bound 2."

"And hey, we made it – Thanksgiving," West raps in the decade-old music. "So hey, maybe we can make it to Christmas."

The pair were notably active on the platform throughout Thanksgiving Day as they shared another video that featured two songs: Mariah Carey's classic recording "All I Want For Christmas Is You," and Soulja Boy's hit single "Crank That (Soulja Boy)."

The "Jesus Is King" rapper and the Yeezy architect are reportedly taking a break following concerns raised by Censori's friends about West's alleged controlling behavior.

A source revealed that her friends intervened by advising her to "wake the f--- up" to what they saw as manipulative patterns within their relationship after she previously slammed them for being "jealous" of her newfound fame.

Their time apart coincided with West's trip to the Middle East with North as an insider noted that his "only focus right now is music," and they may reunite "for the album launch."

According to The Sun, an insider shared that Censori is now "starting to see things from an outside perspective," and her loved ones are "glad that they were finally able to get through" to her.

"She knows that she has shut out those close to her, and she is also starting to see through the smoky mirrors of her marriage. She is aware of Kanye's controlling ways, and she is starting to see things from an outside perspective," the source added.
