Farrah Abraham Sues Viacom for $5 Million, Claims Executives Sex Shamed and Fired Her for Doing Porn

MTV "Teen Mom OG" star Farrah Abraham says executives at Viacom humiliated, sex shamed and ultimately fired her because of her decision to work in the porn business.

Abraham filed the documents seeking $5 million from Viacom claiming they "wrongfully terminated her employment because she did not conform to gender stereotypes."

She says that around October 2017, she was confronted by "16 & Pregnant" and "Teen Mom" executive producer Morgan J. Freeman at her Texas home and "harassed, humiliated, discriminated against, disrespected, ridiculed, degraded and sex shamed" Farrah for her "recent decision to pursue opportunities in the adult entertainment industry."

The 26-year-old single mom released a sex tape in 2013 with pornstar James Dean and released by Vivid Entertainment. Since then, she's done many adult webcams and appearances and made multiple appearances at strip clubs. She has also endorsed sex toys.

Abraham claims Freeman made threats about "ending her career with MTV, sabotaging future deals Ms. Abraham had in place with MTV, and defaming her." The reality star also says "she feared for her life" during the confrontation.

She says shortly after the conversation with Freeman, production informed her she was no longer needed for the show.

Abraham says the harassment from the producers based up on their "gender stereotypes of how women should act and appear, unreasonably interfered" with her work performance and psychological well-being.

She's suing for emotional pain, emotional suffering, mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life and other damages. She also claims gender discrimination and a hostile work environment, and says she's still owed money that was guaranteed in her contract.
