Janelle and Christine Brown, two of the former wives of "Sister Wives" patriarch Kody Brown, are opening up about their relationships with the famous family.
Both women expressed their desire to maintain a positive connection with their former 'Sister Wives' and ex-husband while also prioritizing their individual happiness and well-being.
Janelle and Christine Brown Are Continuing The Reality Show
The TLC reality stars did not hold back as they addressed the fractures in their spiritual marriages and their perspectives on Kody's dynamic with his fourth and only remaining wife, Robyn.
When asked where their relationship stood with Meri, Christine made it clear that her relationship with the 52-year-old was a thing of the past. "I'm not going to be friends with Meri. I'm not going to be close with her," the TV personality stated emphatically before adding:
"I wish her the best, however, I hope that she finds what she's looking for. I know that she would like to have a romantic partner."
The mother-of-six cited a history between them that was better left in the past and emphasized a personal stance on not dwelling on it, avoiding the need for counseling, or rehashing old issues. She then noted her decision to be selective with relationships, opting to keep mutually beneficial ones.
In turn, Janelle echoed Christine's sentiments but clarified that she held no negative feelings, stating, "I have no ill will towards her. I hope she does well. I hope she's happy." The 54-year-old highlighted her intense focus on her current priorities, which included her children, before noting:
"If I run into an event, it's not going to be mean or like we're not going to ignore each other we always say hi."
As for their relationship with Robyn, Christine was even more candid, stating, "I'm not going to have a relationship with Robyn. I am just going to have people in my life that I trust." She expressed skepticism about the younger woman's intentions and emphasized the lack of proof that she genuinely desired a renewed connection.
Janelle also revealed that she and the 45-year-old never truly connected. In her words, "I really didn't even have much of a relationship with her. We just never gelled. We just worked together as teammates for the sake of the family, and it's kind of one of those things like with Meri."
As they discussed the shifts in their relationships, the spotlight on Kody's relationship with Robyn took center stage, with Christine expressing a candid opinion about the couple. "I do think their marriage is great. I think they're equally matched and equally yoked, and they deserve each other," she shared. Janelle agreed, acknowledging her ex-partner's love for the mother-of-five.
Addressing the possibility of Kody adding more wives, both women expressed skepticism, with Christine telling ET's Deidre Behar, "I think she's going to be it." Janelle also questioned the family's patriarch's interest in having more, highlighting the required effort and his genuine love for Robyn.

Although it was interesting to see where they stood, one thing could be clear amid the revelations — the bond between the two women. However, it was not surprising, seeing as only Janelle witnessed the union between Christine and David Woolley.
The Blast reported that her fairytale wedding, which unfolded in Moab, Utah, with breathtaking scenery, a cruise down the Colorado River, and 330 cherished guests, had only one of the four women in attendance.
The two Sister Wives, who share a history and a solid bond, remained close even after Janelle's separation from their mutual ex-husband a year following Christine's departure.
The 51-year-old had even emphasized Janelle's importance to her in an earlier conversation with PEOPLE. Leading up to the ceremony, Christine shared the inevitable stress that accompanies wedding planning. She remarked:
"There's been so many moving pieces with people coming, and not coming, and then you're always going to offend someone."
Woolley chimed in, acknowledging the common presence of family drama during such preparations. Despite the challenges, the couple expressed satisfaction that the ceremony unfolded just as they had envisioned. With excitement, the groom exclaimed:
"The view, the scenery, is unreal. You can't beat it," the happy bride added, "It's a fairytale. It's everything I never thought I would have. I get to walk down the aisle to David, him just looking at me the way that he does, it's a dream come true."
