Sofia Vergara Settling Her Divorce With Joe Manganiello

Sofia Vergarais close to settling her divorce case withJoe Manganiello, paving the way for the supermodel to be a legally single woman!

According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Vergara filed a declaration of disclosure in the case, telling them she has turned over all of her financial information to Manganiello.

In most celebrity cases, this is the last filing before a settlement is reached, and the two parties go their separate ways. As you can imagine, having all the financial information is key for two parties to figure out what a settlement or spousal support will look like in a case.

Of course, these two are very famous and had an iron-clad prenuptial agreement in place. We are guessing there is some sort of stipulation that outlines who will get what in the way of support after the marriage is over.

In most prenups, the ownership of any property is also addressed in the agreement. In other words, if they bought property together -- it will outline how it will be chopped up.

In the filing, Sofia's legal team says they sent the information over by email on November 8, 2023. So, the next filing will most likely be something associated with the settlement. It should be noted, that not everyone files the actual settlement with the courts. Celebrities can file a "judgment" in the divorce, making them legally single, and just say they are satisfied with a confidential settlement agreement.

Sofia Vergara just opened up about the divorce, admitting it contributed to an "interesting and very difficult' year.

The 51-year-old actress referenced her divorce and the SAG-AFTRA strike culminating in a rough patch for her and her family. "I’ve had a very interesting year," Vergara told People. Adding, "I don’t want to say ‘bad’ or anything like that, but it’s been very interesting and very difficult."

"I went through a divorce this year, the SAG strike that went on for so long, I’ve seen my friends struggle — some had to take their kids out of their schools or had problems with their mortgages, so it’s been a weird, weird year," she continued.

The good news is she seems optimistic about the future. "It’s not like it’s bad, I think all the things are resolving, everything is going to be okay and I’m very excited for next year," she concluded.

The former couple met in 2014 at the White House Correspondents' Dinner which Vergara attended with her then-fiance Nick Loeb. The ex-couple married in 2015, and the 'Magic Mike' star filed for divorce on July 19, 2023.

As we reported, Vergara responded to the divorce asking the court to uphold the couple's prenuptial agreement.

Both stars cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.
