Insiders with firsthand information revealed that Jenelle's 14-year-old son fled his grandmother's home on Saturday and remained missing until 11:45 PM on Sunday.
Jace, who had run away from Jenelle's residence multiple times before, has reportedly been placed under the supervision of Jenelle's mother, Barbara.
According to TMZ, Jace is currently in a hospital, and due to his recurrent runaway incidents, CPS plans to relocate him to foster care.
What Prompted Jace Evans To Run Away From Home?

Jace was recently caught vaping at his school, per sources. Upon learning about it, his grandmother reportedly took away his phone. Despite advice from Jenelle, CPS, and the foster care team against giving Jace a phone in the first place, Barbara had initially believed he could handle the responsibility.
After Barbara took away Jace's phone as a form of punishment, sources indicate that he ran away, leading to the previous search for the teenager.
Not The First Time Jace Has Run Away From Home

Jace's tendency to run away has become a recurring pattern. This marks at least the fourth instance of him leaving home, with a notable incident in September when he slipped out of a window on the same day Jenelle's husband, David Eason, was accused of mistreating him.
It is important to note that Jace spent a significant portion of his childhood under his grandma's care. Although Jenelle regained custody earlier this year, he has since run away multiple times, ultimately finding himself back at Barbara's house.
An Intervention From Child Protection Services
Insiders report that CPS officials are frustrated with the ongoing situation, expressing concern for Jace. However, at this point, they fear that if he continues to face more issues, he could potentially be placed in a juvenile detention facility.
CPS has also mandated that Jenelle undergo intensive therapy and drug tests following the loss of custody of her son.
"She's being forced to do all this therapy. And this is not like the last time she had CPS investigating her home, this is bigger than that. She will be in therapy for months," said a source, adding that Jenelle is undergoing drug testing as part of the child welfare agency's ongoing case.
According to reports, therapists have shown reluctance to work with Jace, possibly fearing backlash from both David and Jenelle. This adds an extra layer of complexity to an already challenging situation.
Is David Eason Mocking His Stepson On Social Media?
In October, during the promotion of his new music on a Facebook post, David wrote, "Don't forget to put my music video on so I can 'second hand embarrass you!'"
When a fan questioned how his music could be embarrassing, David responded, "Exactly! Don't let your mama hear it, you might be grounded and run away."
This comment seemed to be a direct taunt at Jace, who had recently run away from home.
Court Hears Claims Of David Eason Harming Jace Evans

David has been accused of causing injury to both the left and right side of Jace's neck, as detailed in the official court summons obtained by The U.S. Sun. According to the court documents, David allegedly "willingly" harmed Jace during the September incident.
The court document specifies: "The defendant unlawfully and willingly did, being the parent of Jace V Evans, who was a child, less than 16 years of age, inflict physical injury on that child. The physical injury inflicted caused marks on their right arm and left and right side of the neck, and was inflicted by other than accidental means."
Jenelle and David have three other minor children residing in their North Carolina home, including a daughter, Ensley, 6, whom they share. Additionally, Kaiser, 9, is Jenelle's child from a previous relationship with Nathan Griffith, and Maryssa, 16, is David's child from his previous relationship with Whitney Rich.
