CBS is getting slammed by NFL fans for panning to Damar Hamlin after NFL defensive player Taylor Rapp left the Buffalo Bills vs New York Jets game on a stretcher.
Following an intense play, Rapp encountered a helmet-to-helmet with his own player and he went down without moving. After Rapp went down, CBS panned to Hamlin, who was carted off the field during a game last year after suffering cardiac arrest.
CBS Receives Backlash For Taylor Rapp/Damar Hamlin Coverage
An ambulance came out onto the field, taking Rapp away on a stretcher. It reminded a lot of people of what happened to Bills safety Damar Hamlin last season, however, fans are slamming CBS for showing Hamlin, calling the coverage "classless."
"Stop showing Damar Hamlin. Talk about disrespectful and classless," one NFL fan expressed.

25-year-old NFL player Damar Hamlin collapsed in the middle of the field during the first quarter of the Monday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals in January.
Hamlin was down on the field for several minutes as medical personnel rushed onto the area and gave him CPR for 9 minutes as his heart stopped. After reviving him, Hamlin was loaded into an ambulance and taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Hamlin was then treated at the hospital, and triumphantly made a full recovery, even being cleared by medical personnel a few months ago to return to football.

Another NFL fan took to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, to slam the broadcasting station. Hopefully, Rapp is going to be ok, as I saw he was moving his fingers before leaving," they said.
