Comedian Wayne Bradyis the victim of a road rage incident, following a car accident in Los Angeles.

According to law enforcement, Wayne was driving down the famous Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu last night, when he was abruptly hit by another vehicle.

Following the accident, Wayne and the other driver -- a 51-year-old man -- started arguing on the side of the road.

Unfortunately, the verbal argument turned into a full-blown physical altercation, where the comedian ended up "banged up" from the incident.

Following the altercation, Wayne reportedly called 911 and met with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department to describe details of the situation. The officers ultimately found the other driver and arrested him for battery, DUI, and hit-and-run. In other words, it seems the person left the scene before law enforcement could take a report.

The Fire Department treated Wayne Brady at the scene, but he wasn't severely injured and didn't need to be taken to the hospital. Sources close to the comedian say, he is a bit banged up after the incident and is taking it easy.

"It would be hard for me to truly put myself 100 percent into a relationship when there's this nagging doubt that I have not explored that piece of me, or even given voice to having that option," Brady said. Adding, "It doesn't mean that it's ever going to manifest itself in a relationship with a man, or a relationship with this person. I don't know, but at least being able to voice that, so that, if I go into a relationship, whomever I'm in a relationship with knows me 100 percent."

He continued, "I think that's the piece that was missing, that I couldn't verbalize, 'cause I couldn't lock on to it. I always felt this dishonest, and if I was being dishonest, then there's no way to truly give yourself 100 percent. Now I feel differently about that 'cause I went, 'Oh, well now you know. So if you were to be involved with me, you know Wayne in totality.' I'm not hiding anything now, so now I can approach you in a way that I never have."

The incident is still under further investigation.
