Aubrey O'Day has slammed the U.S. justice system after Sean "Diddy" Combs settled the sexual-related charges filed by his ex Cassie out of court.

The singer was one of the members of the Danity Kane group, who were once contracted to the Diddy-owned record label Bad Boy Records.

She took to Instagram to express her distaste over the settlement, saying that the justice system allowed Diddy to leverage his wealth to evade accountability.

O'Day has shared her disapproval over the shocking settlement of the sexual-related case between the business mogul and his ex, Cassandra Ventura, also known as Cassie.

Cassie had recently filed a suit against Diddy, claiming he had sexually assaulted and trafficked her for years. However, just a day after the filing, news quickly spread that both parties had chosen to settle the case out of court.

This quick settlement appears to have rubbed off wrongly on O'Day as she took to her Insta Story to put the entire justice system on blast for allowing the case not to go to trial despite the immensity of the accusations.

"Money > accountability. Every time. Welcome to another chapter of the system is well in place," O'Day wrote on a snapshot of a New York Times post that discussed the settlement.

Prior to the settlement of the case, O'Day had thrown her support behind Cassie and even slammed Diddy in an Instagram post, saying, "Been Trynna Tell Y'all For Years."

Her shade at the business mogul seemed to reference several interviews she has given over the years, where she discussed her not-so-pleasant dealings with the music mogul post and during her time at his Bad Boy Record.

She once accused Diddy of making sexual advances, which she in no way encouraged. The singer also revealed that she rebuffed these advances whenever they happened.

More recently, she claimed that Diddy tried to silence her from talking about his alleged shady business practices when he offered her the publishing rights back to her group, Danity Kane, along with an NDA.

She ultimately never signed the deal, revealing at the time that she found the gesture to be annoying. She also mentioned that she knew she could get a better deal for the group that did not require them to lose their right to speak up about their former label and its owner.

In the meantime, neither Diddy nor his representatives have commented on O'Day's claims. However, as to his recently settled suit, he released an official statement, obtained by The Blast, to inform the public about the joint decision.

"We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love," Diddy said.

Meanwhile, Cassie did likewise and also shared her gratitude to those who supported her when she made the scathing allegations against Diddy in her lawsuit.

She said, "I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support."

Details of the settlement remain undisclosed, as neither of the parties has shared any information about it with the media. However, there is a possibility that the sum might amount to several millions of dollars if the statement released by Diddy's lawyer at the start of the lawsuit is true.

Just after Cassie spoke up about what she allegedly faced from Diddy, the business mogul's lawyer, Ben Brafman, replied, addressing her actions as "blatant blackmail."

His statement read, "For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura's persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail. Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs's reputation and seeking a payday."

Cassie's lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, had previously stated that Diddy allegedly offered his client "eight figures to silence her and prevent the filing of this lawsuit."
