Thanksgiving is less than a week away and families all over the country are getting ready for their feast, but make sure to save room for dessert because Jessie James Decker has a secret ingredient that makes her apple pie stand out.

For those wanting to "wow" their relatives with dessert this Thanksgiving, start chopping some apples and get that pie crust ready because Jessie James Decker's apple pie recipe is like no other as she adds a secret ingredient to her filling -- brown sugar!
“Everyone needs a good apple pie recipe for the holidays!” Jessie James Decker said before adding that her secret ingredient, brown sugar, "mixes and melts with the butter, giving it a deep, rich caramel-apple flavor that goes so well with the flaky pie crust."
The country music singer then gave a good tip for if the pie crust feels warm or sticky after the pie is assembled -- just put it in the fridge or freezer until firm!
When it comes to the final product, "The more rustic and homemade-looking, the better this pie is," Decker said, adding, "I swear!"

"I love cooking. It's one of my favorite things to do. I feel like this one is such an extension of me. I have honed in even more on what people loved and wanted. I pay attention to my fans and everyone on socials," she told PEOPLE when promoting her cookbook.
"I really saw what people cooked the most, what they didn't, and I feel like I really honed on that."
Jessie James Decker Is Expecting Her Fourth Child
The 34-year-old country music singer and her husband, former NFL wide receiver Eric Decker, are welcoming a fourth child! The two currently share three children together — daughter Vivianne Rose, 7, and sons Eric “Bubby” Thomas II, 6, and Forrest Bradley, 3.
"Pregnancy, for me, is easy, but I would say this has been the easiest of all of them," she recently stated. "I can't complain."
"I always laugh and say like Vivi tried to kill me in the beginning. It was the roughest pregnancy I've ever experienced in my life. My middle child [Eric "Bubby" Thomas II, 8] was fairly easy. Forrest was also pretty rough on me, which is really funny because I would say Vivianne and Forrest are probably the most alike," she continued. "But this one's been fairly easy."
"I think Vivi is excited just because she's the oldest and she really knows and understands what's going on. She will be 10 in March, right after the baby is born. So she's completely aware and she's taking it even more seriously. She's got a very big role," she added.
