Lynne Spears, the mother of pop star Britney Spears, reportedly fears for her life after a run-in with an allegedly "phony" publicist who somehow found their way into her inner circle.

The 68-year-old mom-of-two still has a difficult relationship with the Princess of Pop, but it looks like some are trying to get close to the "Through The Storm" author in order to get close to her daughter!

Lynne Spears has filed a lawsuit against Jacob Diamond, who she claims “infiltrated” her inner circle in order to get close to her and her daughter. Jacob is a self-proclaimed author, actor, and publicist, but Lynne slammed him as “phony” and “tricked” her in a new lawsuit. Jacob has also been accused of pretending to be close to stars like Khloé Kardashian, Lisa Rinna, and Paris Hilton, who is a close friend of the pop star.

Lynne, 68, and her friends Jansen Fitz, 40, and Tatum Solis, 48, filed the lawsuit in District Court in Amite, Louisiana. They claim they met Jacon in 2019. According to the lawsuit, Jacob spent “three years or so” working his way into their “small social circle.”

Things seemed to come to a head in July 2023, when the lawsuit claimed that he “began to act erratically and aggressively” to them and their children. In one instance, they claim they had to threaten to call the police “to have him forcefully removed from their family home.”

They claim that the 41-year-old “phony” publicist has since bashed them on social media and painted them in an “excessively negative light” that is now causing them to “fear for their safety.”

According to the legal document, Lynne Spears and her friends were able to get a temporary restraining order against Jacob, which prevents him from “harassing, stalking, communicating” with them. The restraining order was created with the goal of “preventing any harm or injury” to Lynne and her friends. With the restraining order in place, Jacob is not allowed to go within 100 yards of them or their homes.

The lawsuit goes on to say that Jacob’s main goal in befriending Lynne and her friends was to get at Britney. Jacob, who describes himself as a “boy band member turned actor turned author” on his LinkedIn profile, has been accused of trying to “infiltrate” her social circle “in an effort to, or in the hope that he would be able to establish a person (sic) relationship with one of the plaintiff's daughters.”

Although she is not named directly in the lawsuit, that person is assumed to be Britney Spears, as the lawsuit claims that Jacob was trying to “obtain at least a small amount of notoriety and/or fame.”

The lawsuit states, “Plaintiffs further aver that the defendant was also motivated by the possibility or prospect of some monetary gain were he able to develop the personal relationship referenced above,” adding that he has been using their “name and images” without consent on social media in posts that have become “more aggressive, demeaning, and defamatory.”

The Daily Mail was the first to report on the lawsuit.

Jacob Diamond’s partner, Derek Larabell, has set up a GoFundMe page to fund his attorney's fees, but so far, they have only reached $510 of their $5,000 goal. It is unclear why the GoFundMe page was created, as he also claimed that Caitlyn Jenner’s lawyer reached out to him personally to agree to work the case for free.

"A big law firm in Los Angeles that represents Caitlyn Jenner and other celebrities, heard about his case and reached out to work with him for free. They did a ton of work on his case, but aren't able to practice law in Louisiana and represent him," he wrote. "We found a high-powered lawyer in Baton Rouge who has been in multiple Netflix documentaries and would also represent him. He jumped at the chance to speak with the media about Jacob's case and go up against Lynne Spears, Tatum Solis, and Jansen Fitz."

"So many of us worked so hard to #freeBritney and help give her, her voice back. I am asking for your help in making sure Jacob is not permanently silenced as well," the plea continued. "If you can donate $20 or $10 or $5 it would mean the world to us… so Jacob can represent himself in court against Lynne Spears' attorney."

On Monday, the case will go before a judge, who will decide whether or not to make the restraining order permanent.
