Even though Joy Behar is a self-proclaimed Taylor Swift fan, the mob was not having it with her when she shared her candid opinion about the singer's relationship with her current man, Travis Kelce. The talk show host had expressed her desire for Swift to leave the professional American football player behind, referring to him as an "idiot."
Fans Ask Joy Behar 'Who Cares?' Following Her Disapproval Of Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce's Romance
Shortly after some of Kelce's old social media posts with disparaging comments about women resurfaced online, "The View" co-host Joy Behar has given her two cents.
The moment came during Thursday's episode of "The View" when moderator and actress Whoopi Goldberg brought up the aforementioned old posts, emphasizing that "some of them date back to 2010" when the Kansas City Chiefs star was in his early twenties.
Behar proceeded to read several of Kelce's since-deleted messages out loud, including one that read, "d--- the clippers girls gotta be the s— girls that dont make the lakers girls team, cuz they all was ugly." She added:
"He's illiterate is more to the point. He's obsessed with the girls looking good; that was his thing."
The 81-year-old continued to read aloud two more of the NFL star's deleted posts, one asking, "why cant girls hide they backfat," and the other declaring, "I feel like if u wanna be a cheerleader you have to pass a beauty test.... there's too many ugly cheerleaders out here smh."

As she finished reading the disparaging remarks, Goldberg asked, "Why do you care what he thinks?" To which she bluntly replied, "I'm a Swiftie, and I love her because she's getting young people out to vote, so I don't want her to be stuck with this id—t."
The comments clearly didn't sit well with other Swifties and they took their time to slam Behar via X, where a clip of the nearly four-minute conversation was posted.
"Joy behar bodyshames people everyday like it's her job. Old hag joy behar stfu," one offended person slammed, as another tagged her and queried, "how old were you when you made your tone-deaf comments around how the war in Ukraine might conflict with your Italian vacation?"
A third Swifie wondered, "Omg WHO CARES? I'm a swiftie and I don't care. This was soooooo long ago. Let people change and grow! Anyone on the View ever say anything they regret later?"
Taking the opportunity to educate Behar, this X user explained, "If you watch the Kelce brothers documentary, you'll know that he got his s--- together and graduated on the Dean's list. People do grow up and change and evolve."
"You folks are just horrible people. The internet reviewed the tweets in a kind and playful way, you go Goldy saying who and joy calling him illiterate. You just mean dark people," yet another online personality admonished.
At the same time, this person stated, "WTF yall...he made shameful comments as a young man and here yall are doing the same d--- thing as grown a— women."
The Lovebirds' Parents Are Scheduled To Officially Meet One Another Later This Month
Regardless of how people view their relationship, Taylor and Travis, who have been dating for five months, are committed to doing what works for them.
In fact, according to an earlier report, the duo intends to take their romance to the next level by having their parents meet for the first time at the Chiefs game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, November 20.
The Blast noted that Andrea and Scott Swift, alongside Donna and Ed Kelce, will gather at the Monday Night game, labeled as a "family reunion." While both families make nice in the stands, Travis will face off against his brother, Jason Kelce, who is an Eagles' center.
Additionally, fans are excited to see how Taylor's dad, a well-known massive fan of the Eagles, will handle himself during the game. The 71-year-old has already made headlines for wearing a Chiefs lanyard next to Travis while watching his daughter perform in Argentina recently.
Travis even highlighted the move from his girlfriend's father during a conversation with his brother on the latest episode of their podcast, "New Heights."
