Kevin Turen, renowned for producing HBO shows like "Euphoria" and "The Idol," passed away after experiencing a medical emergency.
New reports claim that the emergency occurred while he was driving down a California freeway over the past weekend. Additionally, it was asserted that the incident was witnessed by one of his kids who was in the car with him at the time. Kevin, whose family previously disclosed that he passed away suddenly, is survived by his wife, Evelina, and their two sons, Jack and James.

While the Turen family is still coming to terms with the unexpected passing of their beloved son, husband, and father, new details have surfaced.
According to the late producer's father, Edward Turen, and close friend, Michael Heller, the "Wassup Brothers" producer was driving his ten-year-old son home from a tennis tournament when the tragedy occurred on Sunday.

His Tesla is said to have been on autopilot when he experienced a medical emergency, with his son managing to guide the car to the side of the freeway before calling 911. Despite being rushed to the hospital, the "Those Who Wish Me Dead" producer was ultimately pronounced dead there.
Although Edward and Michael informed TMZ that drugs and alcohol were not involved, authorities are still working to establish an official cause of death. At the same time, Jay Penske, a close friend of Kevin's and CEO of Penske Media Corporation, remembers the late 44-year-old as a family man. In a statement Jay issued after Kevin's death, he shared:
"Despite his many achievements in Hollywood, Kevin's greatest passion was his family and friends. He was so proud of his children. He and his wife, Evelina, were resolved that their children grow up with great values and ensured they make a difference in the broader world. Our collective heart breaks for them, and we all feel such a profound sense of loss. We will miss Kevin so much, and this town lost one of its brightest rising stars today."
While many have no idea about the personal details of Kevin's life and marriage due to his privacy, we do know that his wife, Evelina, is an actress. She is known for her roles in "The Box" [2009], "That Awkward Moment" [2014], and "Arbitrage" [2012], which was produced by her late husband.
Evelina, who has also made appearances in the award-winning sitcom "Scrubs" and "Desperate Housewives," has shared the screen with Hollywood numerous names. Some of them include Michael B. Jordan, Zac Efron, Mackenzie Davis, Emma Roberts, Evan Peters, and Cameron Diaz.
She was married to Kevin from June 23, 2012, until his unfortunate passing on November 12, 2023.
Another 'Euphoria' Star Recently Passed Away
Fans were doubly hurt by the news of Kevin's passing because it came just four months after the death of "Euphoria" actor, Angus Cloud. However, unlike the father of two, Augus' cause of death was suspected to be in connection with his drug abuse.
Per a legal document obtained by The Blast, the star's cause of death was confirmed as "acute intoxication" from multiple drugs, including cocaine, methamphetamines, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines.
Revealing the severity of the situation on the day he died, the filing stated that the "North Hollywood" actor had taken an "excessive amount" of these drugs. As previously reported, the actor's official cause of death was linked to drug abuse, but some believed it might have been a lethal combination of drugs.
Now, it has been recorded that the quantity of drugs he ingested was a direct factor in his death. The death certificate additionally indicated that the actor will be cremated and laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland, California.
Angus, who lived in Northern California, was in his Oakland home at the time of his death. Interestingly, the death certificate listed the late 25-year-old's profession as an "artist," stating that "art" was his lifelong business.
The "Your Lucky Day" performer passed away on July 31, 2023. His family issued a statement about his passing, emphasizing that he didn't take his own life. It read:
"It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today. As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways."
