Jay-Z is responding to George Zimmerman's death threats over the upcoming Trayvon Martin documentary – and not only is the rapper making it clear he's not afraid, we're told the project has been moving on full steam ahead.
DJ Khaled dropped the "Top Off" on Friday morning, featuring Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Future. Hova directly calls out Zimmerman on the track, saying, "Meanwhile Georgie Porgie sinnin' and sendin' me threats / Save your breath, you couldn't beat a flight of steps / Try that shit with a grown man / I'll kill that f***boy with my own hand."

The Blast broke the story, Zimmerman angrily lashed out at executive producers Jay-Z and Michael Gasparro regarding their upcoming docu-series, "Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story." Zimmerman told us he wanted to "beat Jay-Z" and "feed him to an alligator" after claiming production harassed his family for interviews.
Sources familiar with the situation tell us Zimmerman has continued to make direct, persistent threats to the production team. Despite the threats, we're told production carried on as scheduled and the team still fully intends to premiere the docuseries in July on The Paramount Network.
Zimmerman, however, was irate at Jay-Z over the project, menacingly telling us, “I know how to handle people who fuck with me, I have since February 2012,” in reference to the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Martin.
