Model Paulina Porizkova Poses Topless To Celebrate ‘No Filter’ Success
On Wednesday afternoon, the “Anna” actress posed topless on Instagram, hiding her chest behind an open cover of her book. She is smiling for the shot, letting her long blonde hair fall in loose waves over her shoulders. In her lengthy caption, she explained how she got started writing her book.
“Two years ago, Maria Shriver called me to ask if I’d write a book about my experiences as a woman in midlife for her new imprint. Oh, and could I do it in say- 3 months? It turns out I could. But not without help,” Paulina wrote. “My agent Marly Rusoff, a woman of great experience, insight, and intelligence, immediately understood this, and introduced me to author Kerry Egan.”
“@kerryeganwriter became my first reader and midwifed the book out of me. (Her book of essays #onliving continues to inspire me, I reread it ever so often for perspective on life, aging, and death),” she explained. “Then it was Amy Sun’s turn to edit, and then arrange the essays in order, which she did with the gentlest and sunniest touch belying her firm hand.”
Giving credit where credit is due, Paulina went on to say, “Lindsay Prevette was my publicist who got me on a million podcasts, Jill Daniels @jillconnection who runs #happywomendinners made it possible for me to meet so many of you, and my girlfriend @thelizcarey snapped thirst trap photos for my IG.”
'On every turn, my book was birthed and swaddled and nursed by women'

“On every turn, my book was birthed and swaddled and nursed by women,” she continued. “It is true that no one shames women more effectively or more often than other women. But it’s also true that as we age and understand the nature of competition that was set up for us by a patriarchal world, we are free to discard it. Instead, with age, we turn to embrace one another, to support each other, to cheer each other on.”
“Thank you all you Good, Bad (-a--) and yes, Beautiful women, who have taken this voyage with me and are still eager to keep exploring what’s next,” she wrote. “Thank you for the lovely reviews on Amazon, (those are very helpful to authors).”
Thank you for coming to meet me at book events - nowhere and no when else have I felt so fully connected. Thank you for being my friends here on IG. I’m immensely grateful for every one of you,” she concluded.
