Model Heidi Klum may have enlisted the help of Cirque du Soleil for her 2023 Halloween costume, but she was delighting fans as a peacock long before that!
The "America's Got Talent" judge took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to share a topless photo that featured her covered in peacock feathers from early on in her modeling career.

On Wednesday afternoon, the 50-year-old model shared a photo of her posing topless underneath several dozen peacock feathers. She stared directly into the camera in the first shot. Fans who swipe to the third and final photo in the carousel can see a side view of her posing with her thumbs hooked into her jeans.
From this angle, it is clear that she is not wearing anything on her chest as the peacock feathers wrap around her shoulders and into her hair. “A different kind of Peacock,” Heidi joked in the caption. Clearly, she donned a much more elaborate peacock costume for her 2023 Halloween costume!

Fans still can’t believe that the first-ever German Victoria’s Secret Angel spent six hours getting ready for her Halloween party, which was held at Marquee New York on October 31. Heidi admitted that her costume had a lot of “moving parts” when she spoke to Page Six Style through her prosthetic beak at the star-studded event.
“It took about six hours to do this,” she said, admitting that she was “not really anxious” about a wardrobe malfunction. She did, however, admit that she was afraid of getting glue in her eyes from the feathery lashes.
Heidi Thought It ‘Would Be Fun’ To Do A Group Costume This Year

“There’s many people, there were 10 artists in there, getting painted with me at the same time,” she said, referring to the other Cirque du Soleil performers. “So there’s a lot of moving parts and people needing this and that,” she said. “You know, [hair]spray, and so it’s a lot of commotion with so many people doing this, you know?”
“I thought it would be fun to do a costume with a bunch of people and so I came up with the idea of a peacock and to do this with 10 people and all make an amazing formation and then fan out,” she shared. “We figured out how the positioning would be and who gets what kind of leotard and how is it painted on so that from the front it will look like a peacock.”
Her Husband Tom Kaulitz Still Got In On The Fun!

Heidi’s husband, Tokio Hotel guitarist Tom Kaulitz, still wanted to be involved in the production of her Halloween costume. That’s why he came to the party dressed as a giant peacock egg in order to still fit in with the theme that his wife was trying to go for. “It’s not easy to come up with something that fits,” he told the outlet. “So peacock, we thought, you know, egg could fit. Big egg!”
“We got really stuck on the egg [idea] immediately,” Heidi confessed, adding that very little “brainstorming” went into the costume itself because she knew exactly what she wanted to do for her 2023 Halloween costume.
“I just didn’t want to do something similar,” she shared. “I feel like I’ve done a lot of prosthetics from head to toe and I’ve done similar things, so I wanted to do something that people had not seen before and that was this for me.”
