Taylor Swift x 'DWTS' Collab Coming And She 'Can't Wait'

Taylor Swift surprised everyone with an unexpected appearance on Tuesday's "Dancing with the Stars."

The 33-year-old pop superstar's pre-recorded video was introduced by co-host Alfonso Ribeiro setting the stage for next week's tribute episode featuring her music. In the clip, disclosed her anticipation for the upcoming event, claiming that she "can't wait" for it.

Even though Swift will not be performing or acting as a guest judge on "Dancing with the Stars" next week, she expressed her support and confirmed she will be tuning in to watch the six remaining celebrities vying for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. 

Ahead of the November 21 "A Celebration of Taylor Swift" event, she recorded and sent in a video, which Ribeiro announced, saying, "Next week we've got a celebration of Taylor Swift. Here's a special message!" The 33-year-old artist then appeared on-screen, excitedly telling the crowd:

"I can't wait to see Dancing with the Stars' celebration of my Eras next week. I wish I could be there with you guys but I'm on tour in Brazil, but I will be there in spirit and I'll be watching."

While the audience reacted by cheering,  some celebrity contestants, along with their professional dance partners, clapped and held up heart signs as the video message concluded. 

"DWTS" had announced the collaboration recently, disclosing the last standing contestants dancing to tunes from Swift's career, with choreographer Mandy Moore, known for the "Blank Space" hitmaker's Eras Tour, serving as a guest judge, per PEOPLE.

Meanwhile, last night's episode featured the couples celebrating the music of the late legendary singer Whitney Houston. "Raven's Home" actress Xochitl Gomez and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy earned the first perfect score of the season. Unfortunately, "The Brady Bunch" actor Barry Williams and his partner Peta Murgatroyd were eliminated.

Aside from Gomez and Chmerkovskiy, the remaining contestants for the upcoming Swift Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold, Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Ferber, Jason Mraz and Danielle Karagach, and Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev.

Aside from getting an honorable mention on "DWTS," the ARIA Music Awards winner has plans to travel home for Thanksgiving amid her ongoing tour. Despite her busy schedule, the "Cruel Summer" songstress will make a brief trip to the United States before swiftly returning to Brazil for her next concert.

Swift will return home for Thanksgiving on November 23 after her presence in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Following the holiday, the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer will head to São Paulo for a performance on November 24.

Her public plans have since raised questions about her boyfriend, Travis Kelce's potential involvement due to his upcoming match against the Raiders on November 26 in Las Vegas. While this tight schedule may limit Kelce's Thanksgiving with Swift's family, it doesn't overshadow the duo's touching moments with loved ones.

Days earlier, the Kansas City Chiefs player's mom reciprocated the support by attending Swift's record-breaking movie, "Eras Tour." Donna's presence at a small theater in Florida was confirmed by TikToker Dannielle Sparks, who claimed to have seen someone resembling the Kelce family's matriarch. As the media personality's expressed in the clip:

"I was like, 'Wow, I never seen someone be such a close doppelganger to Travis Kelce's mother.' You see where this is going."

While she sounded sure about the woman being Kelce's mom, it wasn't until Sparks encountered Donna in the restroom after the movie that her suspicions were confirmed. "Oh yeah, I am, but I'm just a mom," the matriarch admitted in response to the influencer noting her resemblance to the famous athlete's parent.

The TikToker then enthusiastically revealed, "It was Travis Kelce's mother in the theater with us the whole time, and no one even knew," describing the interaction as "the greatest moment of my life." 

Sparks showered Donna with praise, labeling her the "sweetest human ever" and happily mentioned posing for the camera with the matriarch.
