A Buckingham Palace expert has claimed that King Charles III and the Royal family are "relieved" by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle missing the monarch's 75th birthday celebration. The festivities began on Monday with a tea dance and continued with a private family birthday bash. Harry and Meghan were notably snubbed from the invite list.

Another Royal expert noted that Harry and Meghan don't really care about not being invited because they're still on bad terms with the Royal family. Although the couple have said there's been no contact, Harry will still reportedly call his father from their California home.

Neal Sean, a Buckingham Palace expert and royal commentator, has weighed in on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's absence from King Charles' 75th birthday celebration. He claimed that the King and the rest of the Royal family are actually "relieved" about the couple not being in London for the week.

He told Fox News, "Let's be very clear, most senior members of the British monarchy are more than relieved by the news that the two former royals known as Harry and Meghan are simply not going to be returning for the birthday celebrations of his Majesty, The King. The simple fact is, this news was a problem, but more importantly, who needs victims at a family celebration?"

Sean added that while King Charles would "like to reconcile" with Harry and welcome him back into the family, it's now a bigger issue with senior Royal family members. Harry and Meghan are two major names omitted from the guest list for the monarch's 75th birthday private celebration at Clarence House on November 14.

King Charles began his birthday week with a tea dance party on Monday. It was organized by The Prince's Trust at Highgrove House, which is one of the official Royal residences for the King. Harry and Meghan were also notably absent from this event, which was mostly for other 75-year-olds.

Sean further said, "Five years ago, King Charles could never have anticipated exactly how this historic birthday would've panned out. However, reaching such a birthday has made him realize, according to close sources, just how difficult life as a reigning monarch can be."

The royal expert added that King Charles had hope that "his troublesome youngest son Prince Harry may have relented" and come back home for "such a landmark birthday."

Another Royal expert, Richard Fitzwilliams, has said that Prince Harry doesn't have as much feelings concerning the Royal birthday snub. He told the Daily Express, "I really don't think Harry cares about not being invited to his father's 75th. The rift runs deep. The Sussexes reportedly still want an apology from the royal family."

Fitzwilliams further said that the future of the relationship between the Sussexes and the Royal family is "uncertain." He added that it's "not a pleasant prospect for King Charles to deal with." The expert also said that it would "take years" for the Sussexes and the Royal family to reconcile because there's a lot of mistrust now.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan has revealed that there's been "no contact" from the King or royal family about the birthday. The rep issued a statement to The Post: "In response to UK media headlines, there has been no contact regarding an invitation to his majesty's upcoming birthday. It is disappointing the Sunday Times has misreported this story."

Despite the birthday snub, it seems Harry plans to extend an olive branch by calling his father on the 14th. An insider told the BBC that the Duke of Sussex intends to speak to his father at least on the big day. This might be a big step towards repairing the strained relationship between father and son.

Another source close to the Sussexes previously told the Daily Mail that Harry and Meghan weren't aware of the birthday bash until the viral report from The Sunday Times. A friend has now hinted that the story was leaked to distract the public from the King and Queen's recent visit to Kenya, where they faced pressure to apologize for the British colonial past and damage done to African countries.

However things go, we wish King Charles III a happy 75th birthday!
